The ground under my feet rumbled with warning and I reached a hand out for Camden. He reached back to me but everything erupted in chaos before I could put my hand in his. The floor started to give way, and I called for my wings, I saw him start to fall as the floor gave way under his feet. I dropped down holding a hand out and his hand slapped into mine. I looked in to the darkness below. Not sure how far down the fall actually was. He looked up at me and then back down. Margret had been able to back away from the hole and was not holding Garrett by the wrist, panic in her eyes and face. I looked at Camden then back to Garrett.
