*Harper*
Landing on top of the small half of the waterfall, Camden looked up at me with wide eyes, and I could feel his fear like it was my own. He was truly afraid I would be hurt, I was perched much like a gargoyle on the edge of a building, my knees fully bent, on arm between my knees on the rock to keep my balance. Wings ached high to keep them clear of the water.
"Harper, please. We will be here all night if you don't come down here, and I don't really want to climb up there." The wind blew down the water and I shivered slightly, wishing I had brought my jacket. The night air was cold without the rays from the sun to warm it. I sat down on the rock and Camden crossed his arms over his chest.
"Harper--" I turned and looked down at him, and my heart painfully clutched in my chest. I didn't want to lose him and it felt like if I went down he would put a end to something that had just begun.
