She was right, Elizabeth had looked right at her spot. She spoke to her, how was that possible? Adler looked through all of my memories of Elizabeth. And he started flagging things out of the ordinary, she always seemed to stare at the space to my right when I approached her, I always thought it was because she wanted to see if anyone was following. But I never thought in a million years it would be because she saw the imprint of Harper on me. How is that possible? I felt so astounded. I had been so deeply in love in Elizabeth...I felt a deep connection with her...much like...the bond I share with Harper.
My eyes turned to her with new understanding. I wasn't feeling Eliza...I was feeling Harper. I don't know how, I was going to find out, but I felt our connection even before I was connected to Adler. That should be impossible! That sounds insane. I wanted to pace away from her but we were tied together.
