"Ben the bugger,"
A startled scream left her mouth and the phone fell from her hand. This can't be happening! Scarlett hardly recovered from the memories and here was another realistic reminder of what she did.
"Ben the bugger?" her eyes were as wide as saucers. She remembered saving his contact as "Ben" when did she act "The Bugger". Gosh! She was so dead! What in the world had gotten into her last night to have committed all this atrociousness?!
The call ended and Scarlett unconsciously let out a sigh of relief. But then, she rejoiced too soon because in the next minute, her line rang again and she almost had a heart attack.
"Why me?!" Scarlett cried out, pulling her hair. It seems Ben was adamant about getting her to pick up today. It was almost like he was saying, "You've had your fun last night, now's my turn,"
