Ben's eyes fluttered open, the sunlight from the window made him wince from discomfort. Where was he?
"Franklin!" someone's shrill voice almost destroyed his eardrums making him wince. Before he could even blink, his manager's face appeared in his line of view.
"Thank God you survived! It's such a huge relief! Do you know how worried I was when I received the news? I ran to the hospital like a crazy man!" the man gushed out while Ben wished he could filter out the noises.
Don't get him wrong, Ben appreciated his care but Noah was emotional to a certain degree that can be perceived as mildly annoying - at least to him.
"Fine, I'm awake. Can you please shut the curtain close," He tilted his head to the source of the morning rays.
"Oh, sorry about that," Noah hurried over to the window, obeying his instructions immediately.
