"Guard well your spare moments. They are like uncut diamonds. Discard them and their value will never be known. Improve them, and they will become the brightest gems in a useful life." — Ralph Waldo Emerson

Ben woke up tangled with a body that clung tightly to him. What the f*ck was going on? He felt something heavy on his chest and didn't need a shaman to tell him that it was Aphrodite snuggled up to him.
Carefully, he eased her back to the bed so she didn't wake up because trust him, her troubles were the least of what he needed at the moment. But then seeing Aphrodite asleep was a bit stunning. With her agility, he had thought she needed no sleep. Well, she was in the body of a mortal, rest was expected.
However, as soon as Ben sat up, he felt a splitting pain in his head and he almost doubled over from the pain. What just happened? A hungover? So this was what it felt like.
