Edith fidgeted under the hard gaze of the man who would be her prospective future boss. At twenty-four, she knew she was young to be applying to be an English translator to a CEO of such a large company, but she was confident that she would not disappoint. She had just gotten her MBA and she had minored in Chinese so her being American shouldn't pose the problem of a language barrier. She may have had little prior experience but she was intelligent and a fast learner. She had the desire to please her future employer in whatever capacity that she could.
As she said as much to him, James Li's eyebrows rose though he remained silent. He was a formidable man. At 62 he had seen a lot in his life. He'd started out with nothing—just the son of a commune farmer in China's early days of reform. Now he was a multimillionaire many times over, CEO and founder of one of the most successful tech companies in China. He'd done it with long hours and hard work, steel determination and an attitude that would not back down from what he wanted.
As he regarded Edith, he had his doubts about whether she could fill the position to his satisfaction. Her youth and inexperience counted against her. But he had to admit her credentials were impressive. He allowed his gaze to slide over her from her blonde crown to her dainty feet ensconced in red heels. Her sheer pantyhose held long and lean legs. She wore a chic red dress that counted as business casual that stopped a few inches above her crossed knees. Her breasts trembled with her short anxious breaths. On her long and graceful neck was a Pearl necklace. Her lips wore the same shade of Ruby red as her dress. Her cheeks were pink, more from the perusal of his eyes than her blush.
He was not yet so old that he couldn't appreciate the beauty of a young and intelligent woman. His dick twitched, reminding him of how long it had been since he had enjoyed sex. Her beauty was a problem. He was married and this woman was a temptation. His own wife was too busy—too self absorbed to pay any attention to his needs and desires, and putting this woman in his office everyday was like playing with fire.
"I am willing to do anything you ask of me. I want to please you." Edith said, breaking through his thoughts. Her words were what tipped his choice in her favor. He'd been ready to turn her down but he regarded her soulful eyes.
"You can start Monday." He told her. He'd never wanted to be burned by fire so badly.

James Li was satisfied after two weeks of Edith's presence to know he'd made a good decision in hiring her. He was a no-nonsense type of guy. He wanted everything just so.
He'd struck a gold mine in Edith. She not only did things as he wanted but after a few days she anticipated his desires. She was hired as a translator but she was better than any personal assistant he'd ever had.
Just then she leaned over his shoulder to place a stack of documents on his desk. He could smell her perfume's subtle scent. Subconsciously he leaned a bit closer hoping for a stronger whiff.
"Here is the contract for the cooperation that you will discuss tonight. Do I need to be present?" She asked.
"Yes, I'll need you to translate." He affirmed absently, still deeply breathing her floral scent.
Suddenly his phone lit up. It was a bank notification. His wife must be out shopping. He sighed. His wife thought nothing of spending large amounts of money on frivolous things. Though he had plenty of it, he wished she could be more frugal.
He sighed and tossed the phone back on The desk. Edith studied him and then smiled at him.
"What you need is a good massage to melt away all of that tension." Edith teased lightly as she rested her hand on his shoulder. She felt him stiffen in surprise but then relax slightly, so she brought down her other hand. He sighed again, his head falling back against the chair.
"As if I'd find time for that." He murmured.
She gently squeezed his shoulders. "I…I could do it for you," Edith ventured hesitantly.
"I don't pay you enough." He said, the very faintest hint of a smile twitched on his lips. God only knew how long it had been that he'd really and truly smiled.
"You don't have to pay me to do this. I'm glad to do it." She said softly as she squeezed and kneaded his taunt muscles. Slowly they became malleable in her hands.
"You're so good. So very good…" his voice trailed off. He became lost in the spell she was weaving around him.
"Shhh. Let me work my magic," she teased as she came around in front of him. She stood between his legs and kept working her hands into his shoulders and upper arms, sliding down to his chest.
Edith knew if she weren't careful that she would fall into dangerous territory. She had realized on the first day of her job that she was wildly attracted to this man, but thus far she managed to hide it. She liked older men. She also liked intelligent and authoritative men. The thought of being submissive to a man like that was enough to make her feel wet.
It was at that moment there was a light tap on the door and Holly peeked in. "Sir, I have the file for tonight——" Holly began but froze in shock when she took in the scene before her.
Mr Li moved Edith aside and glared in Holly's direction.
"Did I say you could come in?" His voice was icy cold.
"N-no sir." Holly said, backing out of the room.
"You didn't have to be so harsh." Edith said without thinking.
"There are rules here and I expect them to be followed!" He barked at her with that same icy tone.
Edith's eyes widened. She gritted her teeth and bit back a sharp retort. Smiling tightly, she straightened her clothes and stepped away from him.
"Of course. Understood." Her own voice hard.
James Li was irritated by the whole situation. He'd taken his frustration out on Edith but the truth was that he was most annoyed at himself. He'd prided himself on being a man with an iron will and self control to match. He'd never allowed himself to become so careless with a woman, but there was no denying Edith was under his skin.
"Get out." He muttered, busying himself with emails. The best way to deal with temptation was to remove it.
"Gladly." Her firm reply caused his head to snap to attention in shock but she was already walking out of the door, closing it with a bang. He sat in astonishment. No one ever dared speak to him with such attitude before! She had no idea the beast she had just provoked!
