Faye doesn't need to be liked by those three women.
"Eh? Why?" Olivia asked curiously.
"You don't need to know. I and they understand the reason. You haven't sent their salaries, have you?" Faye asked coldly.
"Not yet, their pay is still on the same date as the employees here," Olivia said, "even though yesterday they asked for salary. I said I had to ask Madam Faye for permission first."
"Good," Faye said coldly, "whatever has to do with them, please inform me."
"Very well, Madam Faye," Olivia said.
Faye returns to her almost empty office. In silence, she stares at the orange sky.
'I've given them a chance, and they decided to fight back. I have no reason to beg them. They are the ones who should beg me.'
