Kazumi repeated over and over
"Keep your nerve, keep your nerve" Kazumi approached the cage, looked up, and said
"Who are you? and why is it that every time I go to sleep I end up here?" The dragon's eyes shined as bright as a star and had massive k-9's. The dragon looked down at Kazumi and said
"Haha, I've been asking myself the same question for years " Kazumi had been scared of the dragon at first but he was starting to feel some kind of connection to it.
"If you really want to know why I'm trapped here why don't you take a look" The dragon extended its massive claw toward Kazumi's forehead and then, everything around him was falling and reshaping and after a few seconds he looked around to see a massive medieval-looking village with tons and tons of flowers and mountains surrounding it. As Kazumi walked the center of the village he heard arguing in this massive building next to him. He slowly crept towards the doors and peeked inside, 2 men were arguing about some kind of raid, Kazumi walked closer and finally heard what they were talking about
"They're way too dangerous to be kept alive, they could release that dragon anytime and kill us all!" Kazumi's body went cold, he instantly thought about Atsuro, he listened closer and heard them talking about a group of people who had the power to control the dragons, talk to them, and manipulate their strengths. Suddenly Atsuro said
"Don't you get it, boy? Did you ever wonder why you have naturally red hair and the rest of your family has black hair? Or did you even think about how you have no resemblance at all to the rest of your family?" Kazumi thought deeply about what the dragon said, but he still didn't understand, so he asked
"What are you trying to say?" The beast sighed and said
"I guess you never really were the smart one, what I'm saying is that you are a Kurosawa, and not just any Kurosawa you are the last one." Kazumi felt like the wind was knocked out of him. He felt like he had been betrayed by all of the people that he loved, he was done with all these lies. Kazumi couldn't help but fall to his knees with a look on his face as if he had seen a ghost. Kazumi was dizzy with emotions of anger, sorrow, and shock. Atsuro felt Kazumi's anger, Kazumi let out a roar of anger so loud that his head hurt right after it. Suddenly Kazumi felt a pain on the side of his cheek, Kazumi woke up with sweat all over him and looked around for the monster but instead was greeted by the old man's hand. Kazumi found out what was bothering his cheek the hard way.
" C'mon boy rise and shine, we have a lot of work to do," the old man said Kazumi was still in shock from his conversation with the beast inside him. Could it be true? Kazumi thought over and over again as he threw on his clothes. Kazumi was wearing his casual street clothing while the old man was wearing some kind of robe with all these dots on it, as Kazumi got closer he saw that they were actually little symbols that reached all the way around his robe. Kazumi said jokingly
"I didn't know you were a boy scout" after he instantly started laughing but was instantly met by a cane this time. Before Kazumi could respond the bald man said
"We don't have an all-day kid" Kazumi followed the old man out of the hut and into the woods. Kazumi never knew where they were going but he kept walking with the old man. After almost 40 minutes of walking, they finally reached a massive open field with mountains on all sides Kazumi quickly put his hand over his eyes to block the sun the blade man said
"You'll be spending the next few months here so you better get used to it"
"Yo, do you have any sunscreen?" Kazumi said, The old man quickly sighed and thought to himself " We have a long way to go"
"Alright kid, do you remember what happened that day during your examinations?" the old man said, Kazumi's face instantly went dark, he felt ashamed of himself
"Not really, all I remember is that I was fighting that prick and then everything went black," Kazumi said, The bald man replied quickly with
"Well basically there was something that triggered you that day that caused you to use that power. I've been trying to understand how we draw out that power and how we suppress i-" Kazumi interrupted the man before he could finish his sentence
"I swear to fucking god, can you please explain to me why I was locked up for using some power, why everyone is so scared of it, and most importantly how I possess this curse!" The old man sighed and said
" FINE, it was a very long time ago, the entire world was in a state of insanity because of that dragon that's trapped inside you, the beast slayed millions of innocent people, he massacred village after village and nobody could do a thing, and the only people with the power to communicate with the dragons were the Kurosawa and people were quick to suspect them of commanding the dragon to kill all of those people. Obviously, they were mostly wrong except for one Kurosawa who had an urge to destroy the other nations and have the Kurosawa bloodline be mounted on the throne. The villagers instantly saw this man as a threat that needed to be eliminated and they connected the one bad Kurosawa with the whole clam, so long story short the King ordered them dead but before that, your father gave YOU to his friend, your mother, and the Kurosawa clan sealed the dragon inside you, but they made it so that you could only harness the power through the sword" The old man looked over just to see Kazumi, who had his head down and tears running down his face.
