Five.....
'This is serious,you gotta tell us if you know any thing, so we can help you out with the rest .' this time it was Maxwell who'd spoken ,meaning I wasn't in my room and equally wasn't dreaming what did I get myself into ?
Opening my eyes I noticed I'd changed position I was now a little bit closer to them probably so they wouldn't have to shout for me to get them .
I couldn't help the hysteric laugh that escaped my lips . This was all sick ,the sickest part of it was that I wasn't dreaming .
Taking in a deep breath to calm my nerves I looked down at them .
'To be honest, I have no idea on what is going on ,no idea at all so instead of hanging me off like a piñata , why don't you start by starting and explain to me why I'm supposed to know about spells or why I'm suspending in the air .'
I didn't know how I was keeping calm but it was all I could do not to panic and go crazy.
'I think she has a point there Dad didn't tell her anything as we'd suspected so I suppose you should bring her down we have a lot to do with her if we don't want her going nuts in school and causing a scene and she needs to get a set of tailored uniforms fit for a supposed senior though she gas a ton load of catch up to do. A toddler in the academy would be able to beat the hell out of her with just a sneeze.
Just like that my body floated back to my seat as easily as it took for me to fly off it . Once We'd all settled down I found my self listening to the most crazily absurd explanations ever that involved magic ,vampires shape shifters dragons and many other things we saw in fantasy novels or documentaries. None of that made any sense but that was the best I could get till I did my own personal research .
'Most importantly no one gas to know about this if they aren't equally supernatural they would be in mortal danger. ' The way Jeremy said that looking deep into my eyes made me doubt my intentions on telling Eli no matter how much I wanted to I certainly didn't want to hurt him .

Finally !
I'd been out the whole day shopping taking measurements of different types of clothing and doing stuff that girly did on their free time , I was now back at home and I couldn't wait to roll up in a ball on my warm feathery soft bed and doze off. It turned out that was gonna have to wait 'cause uncle M had asked summoned me to his office as soon as I had made it to my room .
I would have personally preferred a cool Netflix movie and a warm box of pizza and coke, rather than a talk with my uncle after such a tiring outing with my new relatives who were more interested in their personal shopping than helping me out with mine ,which had been the main reason for our going out , but who was I to complain any way . I was still trying to grasp all about the supernatural stuff and it was proving to be almost impossible .Whatever a girl could always dream. At least I couldn't be blamed for that.
Pearly was so kind as to show me the way to Uncle M's office since I'd have likely gotten missing in such a big estate .
Knocking on the door gently I listened carefully ,no reply.
I was about to knock again when the door flew open like I'd kicked I retracted my hand like it'd been scourged and turned around to see if any of my cousins were playing a prank on me .
' Come in child . '
My feet's seemed to have a mind of their own as the walked into the somber office of my uncle M which was lead uniquely by candles he sat behind a large imposing office table made up of red wood .
'Sit ' I hadn't even noticed the chair yet but I found my self sitting down. My heart seemed to want to reap out of my chest was my uncle using magic on me ?
Surely not Sylvia had had to speak in a foreign language for me to float into the sky and my uncle was speaking clear English surely it couldn't be a spell , or could it ? This magic thingy was wrecking my senses .
I looked up at my uncle his eyes were glinting he was looking at me with that same look he'd had when he'd come to take me from the orphanage ,the same uneasy feeling settled on me again , I wished Eli could be here to comfort me .
The silence that drew made me wary.
'Uncle you called for me ?'
I said finally deciding to break the silence .
'Indeed '
He still looked at me with those glinting amber eyes . Maxwell and Sylvia looked a lot like him with the same perfect shade of blond hair ,the high cheek bones full lips same nose shapes the only difference were their eyes since they both had blue with little freckles of amber eyes which I assumed was from their mom which I hadn't heard anything on yet .
'Have you been informed about the realities of our family ?'
'Yes uncl.....I mean yes Dad '
'Good .'
I remained quiet not knowing what to say ,but when the silence seemed to be getting the upper hand again I decided to speak.
'What does this have to do with me ? ,why am I going to a school for the supernatural when I'm obviously void of any powers ?' I was now looking intently at my uncle/dad
'It turns out you're parents had cast a protective spell over you before their death which sealed your powers from any onlookers to avoid your discovery .' He said looking at me with that glinting look '.. Knowing my brother I should have expected that from him well whatever I'm gonna have to break the spell and I need you to know its gonna hurt .'
I was momentarily taken aback by the reminder of the fact that the people who had brought me to life weren't there any longer, but I had to calm my anguished feelings and think clearly about this powers and all .
Could I really have powers ?
Could I really be someone strong ? Could I make people go soaring in the air with just one word ?
Surely I needed time to think about that .
I was just about to speak when ....
'We do not really have a choice you'd be off to school tomorrow and be back only after a month ,there's no way I'm letting my newly found niece who is now my legal daughter to go into a potentially dangerous place without Powers to back you up .'
Well ... put that way there was certainly no room for argument ,but still I could simply not go to that school I could simply choose to be normal if being supernatural hadn't been enough to keep my parents alive or jeep me by their side then what was the need to be .....
'Wouldn't you like to share something powerful ,wouldn't you like to feel your parents magical heritage in you ? Wouldn't you lime to be connected to them ?'
Uncle M interrupted my thoughts like he could read them certainly he couldn't ,could he ?
Truly I'd love to and I couldn't deny it ,I'd love to feel connected to my parents even if it was just for a moment . Yes I'd loved that with all my heart .
Looking at my uncle ,I took a deep breath .
'Is there any thing else I should know ?'
'Actually there is ,your mother wasn't a witch like we your father and I she was a hybrid , a mixture of vampire,siren and werewolf which was and still isn't common ,so I think some of their traits have been passed down to you .Ind I'm gonna have to unblock that but you'll have to know it would be painful you might go unconscious . Just keep your parents in your mind and draw your will from wanting to be as strong as they were and you'd be able to endure .'
Wow that was far more than I'd expected a day ago I was at an orphanage counting days to my freedom ,I was completely ordinary and happy and right now I'm casually told I could be a mixture of four different things I thought existed only in books ? What an irony.
'You ready ' Uncle M asked
I simply nodded storing all my power to endure the pain I was expecting.
Before I knew it I couldn't feel my body any more . I felt calm like I was floating out of problems then suddenly I felt like my skin was being ripped out like my nails were being plucked of my whole body was on fire I don't know if I screamed my hair seamed to be scorching hot the pain was unbearable ,I was loosing it I don't know how long it lasted all I knew was pain pain I'd never imagined could exist ,and suddenly it was all gone .
All I felt was emptiness and calm.
