ALEX POV
Being stupid is one thing but acting mad is another.
What was I thinking when I helped her the other day, now she just told her stupid friend that she saw me with her boss....her boss.?
"Alex!, what are you going to do about this?" Liam poked me in the chest as the other girl...what's her name - i don't care, walks out of the cafeteria chasing after her lame friend.
"She really got the balls dude" james reminds me.
I rolled my eyes.
I stood up immediately same goes to liam and james.
"I thought you where the arrogant one here" liam said winking at me "But sh-" I cut him off.
"Shut up both of you!"
She works in that company, hmm I like the sound off that.
Angela's POV
I was 3minutes late from my actual work time, and now I have to face my boss.
This is my first time working here cause last time I came, was not my day to work, and am so nervous.
I walked out from the lift and headed to Mrs Kourtney's office, I did not want to talk to people around here even though I know I have to, cause am going to be working here.
I knocked on the door and no response so I decided to walk in, just now i remembered how beautiful the office was.
"Miss Sud?" Mrs Kourtney said snapping me from my thoughts, so I jerked a little she realized and said "My apologies, did I scare you?."
"No, no not at all" I replied with a hazy voice. "Am sorry for showing up late" I pleaded.
"I was almost wondering if you got lost on the way here" she giggled and I smiled "Come in dear, will you stand at the doorway forever?."
She is amazing.
I walked in slowly, not wanting to make any mistakes. and I approached my desk then she got my attention when she said.
"I hope last incident won't repeat itself" she said this heading to her office and stopped, am sure she waited for a response so I said.
"Yes!" It was little high so she Could hear me "But I wanted to ask you some questions."
Last incident was when I fell and embarrassed myself, front of Alex and now she have to remind me of that.
She then said "Come into my office if you want to talk" I Was in the cubi office so I walked down to hers.
Her office was professional.
She is a psychytrist, am sure this is a branch of medicine devoted to the diagnosis, prevention, study and treatment to mental disorders.
So what was Alex doing here, in a meeting with her.
What do you care?
Her office has pictures all over it, which i guess might be from patients, it also has a room different from her office, perhaps that's where she takes all her patients to.
"So what where you willing to ask me?" She said, she has already taken her sit and she pointed for me to take mine.
So I did.
"Why did you choose me?" I said and looked at her confused face then I added "For this job, am very sure Mrs, that being a professional yourself you would also need good workers, why would you want to choose me to be your assistant."
Not that am complaining but am surprised I don't even have a degree yet. "Your on probation Sud." She said
"Anyway's thats a smart question Miss Sud, some people wont bother asking" she said and tapped something on her computer then shifted it to my view, I saw my job application I posted online few days ago before I got this job.
Okay, that was my application so why did she show me.
"Being an assistant to a psychologists you need to provide support to psychologists and other licensed professionals." She said raising her eyes to meet mine "They observe behavior, make assessments, and prepare records and reports on clients facing a wide range of mental health challenges." She said this with a face that says 'can you do it Angela' its obvious she is telling me what am here for, then she added "Angela now is my turn to ask you can you handle this job with your school on the line, cause i would not want to risk that for you"
This was the time i would love to say no, its a lot to handle but remembering my mum and my expenses i had to take care of i did not think twice "Yes, i can handle it" i said it not caring about the consequence
But my question has not been answered yet.
Why did she give the job to me, when she thinks i can't handle it.
"If you say so Miss Sud, i hope you don't fail", she handed bunch of papers to me and said "Preparing for assistant psychologist may begin with enrolling in paper works" she grinned and I smiled.
She is amazing that I almost forgot I was here on probation, I can get fired and the other lady can be chosen.
Anyway, i took the papers.
Before I could head out, Mrs connor received a call and got anxious immediately, she carried her little hand bag from her desk and gave me a file and she said.
"Angela! Go to this address" she gave me a piece of paper "Ask for the individual on this file and change the meeting date immediately, they like changing dates in person not on mobiles." she added.
"Is there any problem" i asked
"Nothing I can't handle" with that she ran off from my view.
I would love to help, I wonder what happened that made her that nervous.
I walked out of the office, I checked my time it was 4:55pm.
I took the bus to the address, that's when I got a call from Isabella, I picked it.
"Hey Isa" I said.
"Angela!?"she backed.
Just remembering what I did earlier,I was supposed to call her after now hearing the venom in her voice.
Oh no, she is pissed.
"What's up" I replied with a low tune not wanting to upset her more..
"Everything is up!, you left me with those guys after your wierd confession and now I don't know where you are" she replied.
"I went to the office, i told you my schedule's right" I mumbled cause I was not sure if I told her.
"Yes, of course you told me" she said, her voice filled with sacarsm "Send me your address am coming over"
"Am not at work now, I went for an errand for my boss" I said looking around and I saw two wierd girls, one has a messy pony tail the other with brunette short hair they where both making out in the bus.
I think they are gay
"Angie, are you okay" she said this time with a worried voice.
"Yea I guess, when I get home I will make sure I call you...okay" I said assuring her that am fine.
"Yeah yeah, I would be there before you" she chuckled and I smiled. She hanged up.
Appearing to the address given to me, I haven't realized that it was close to the university. Probably 5minutes away.
I walked up to the mansion, it was big and baronial.
I ranged the door bell, waiting for someone to open I quickly came down the stairs and went to check around I mean is a big house someone has to be here.
I walked round the garden it was so natural, beautiful flowers and the sunlight reflected on everything.
Immediately I heard the door opening i quickly ran back to the stairs and missed a step, before i could register what just happened I was on the floor.
Oh no this is Bad Angie.
"Not surprised"I heard a very familiar voice. Alex!. And thats when I realized I was on the floor so I stood up immediately with the files that where roughly scattered.
I stood up correctly and adjusting myself a bit.
I had to look up to see him directly cause he was so tall.
His eyes, so brown with his perfect hair that looks like he got out from the shower, his nose lits up when he looks at my directions and if felts like everything around me just stopped working.
That's when i realized what I did earlier in the cafeteria, was he planning on exacting his revenge.
No just think.
His smirking....ugh.
"Hey"I said professionally not forgetting what am here for.
"Are you always this messy?"he said raising his eyebrows.
"Am not messy"I said adjusting the files in my hands.
"Then your clumsy" he said still smirking. I rolled my eyes.
What does he want.
What is he even doing here.
"Are you the maid here?" I asked looking straight inside the house to check for anyone, not realizing what I just said, then he giggled.
"Are you the gardner?" he asked back. I don't understand what's happening here.
"Of course not!"I said and narrowed my eyes "Did you follow me over here?"
I asked cause I was not sure why his here.
"Who is at the doorway?" he said more like a question, okay. that's true he was here first so he can't be following me, "Is pretty obvious you came to apologize for your recent actions?" he added looking straight In my eyes and resting on the door with his legs across the other.
Before I could answer a pretty lady appeared from inside the house and said "Hello, I guess you are Angela Sud? Kourtney told me you would be coming" she paused for a while and looked at Alex then she continued with "My name is Kate Easton and am sure you just met my son Alexander" she finished looking at Alex.
What!
Now looking at the lady well I realized she also had brown eyes, with a long black hair, she wore all black dress with the side looking opened.
She is hot, not surprised that's she is Alex's mother.
"I believe your here for his schedule's, sorry but this family don't believe in mobiles" she explained further not letting me say a word "Am personally sorry for letting you drive all the way here, anyway let me leave you two to discuss. You can come in" she suggested.
Am not here for his schedule's, that's when I remembered I did not check the file so i looked at the nice lady and back to Alex.
He does not seem to care, he looks upset by her presence but not wanting to show it...hmm.
They are messing with me right?
I quickly checked the file.

Oh my, this is bad.
I recently just ratted him out to Isa and now he wont make it easy for me.
Most especially I have to sit down and reason with him for probably 30minutes.
What should I do....
