She tucked the handkerchief safely in her bag and went to wait for her driver happily. She made up her mind to repay him for his kindness in another way.
That night, she stayed up very late to bake her special cookie recipe. She packaged it nicely and placed it in her bag.
She went to sleep very happy whiles Aiden also was thinking of ways to protect her in the dark. He really hated it when she cried.
The next day , she arrived very early at school and waited for his arrival. When he entered the class. he glanced at her briefly and went to his seat .
Morning classes went on well for both of them . When the bell rang for break, everybody went out living only the two of them in the class.
She boldly walked to him and presented the cookies to him. She thanked him and also brought out his handkerchief.
Surprisingly for her, he took the cookies and thanked her, but told her to keep the handkerchief as he didn't need it again.
She went back to her seat in a very happy mood. She has never been this happy since she was born ,even though she's the only daughter of one of the most wealthiest families in the country.
He saw her happy expression and it really improved his mood for that day. Their life became very peacefully for about two weeks till the event that changed their life took place.
That morning, she wasn't feeling well but she still came to school because she didn't want to stay far away from her crush.
After school that day, the school Belle and her minions ganged up of her and beat her till she collapsed.
She laid there unconscious for a long time. About 30 minutes time, Aiden came to pass by and saw someone lying on the floor.
He went close to check who it was and he stilled. His heartbeat increased rapidly. Fear and panic attacked him that moment.
The only woman he promised to love and protect was lying on the floor in that state. He quickly checked her pulse and was relieved to find out that she was still alive.
He called his driver and he helped him with their bags and he raised her and sent her to his car.
When they arrived at the hospital, he sent her to the VVIP ward since the hospital is one of their properties.
The doctors came to administer treatment to her and stabilized her condition. After that they told him to press the bell when she shows signs of waking up.
He sat by her side and kissed her on the forehead. He studied her face and thanked God for keeping her safe.
He knew he would have losed it if something bad had happened to her. He fondled her cheeks and promised her to avenge her.
He went outside and called the principal of the school to report what had happen. And he warned him to bring the culprits out before the end of the week.
He walks back into the room and continue to take care of his angel. Later that evening, he inform her parent about her being in the hospital.
They come there to take care of her and I go back home . I call the school to take a leave of absence for the both of us and then pack some clothes and go back to the hospital.
Her parent leave her in his care as they know and trust him. He stays by her side without sleeping the whole night.
