"Shoto... I want to keep the baby"
Shoto's POV
I stayed silent for a moment. It's not that I didn't want to keep our baby, there's just so many risks...but I can't say no I want to keep it as much as (y/n) does.
"Are you sure thats what you want?" I asked her, trying to make sure she is positive before we go all out buying baby stuff.
"Yes, I'm sure." She said wiping away tears from her face.
"Don't cry, we'll get through this, just like we got through everything else. Okay?" I pulled her into another hug, and I knew that it was going to be a rough 9 months for both me and her.
"How are we going to tell people? I mean we're still young, and then eventually the outside world is going to find out too, and-"
"Hey, don't overthink it okay, you can tell whoever you want, you will have to tell your agency right away though." (Y/n) worked in the same agency as Bakugo, Kirishima, Mina, and Kaminari. So that means they would be one of the first people to know, since people would have to be covering (y/n)'s shifts.
"I know you probably don't want me to work, but I can still patrol around the city, and to make you feel better I'll take someone with me. I don't want you to be the only one bringing money in the house." She gave me a soft smile.
"(Y/n) you are too caring."
After our talk we didn't do much but relax for the whole day. (Y/n) had a temperature and wouldn't let go of me. I'm really going to need to be home more while she's pregnant, the thought of her staying home by herself like this makes me worry.
The night flew by and before we knew it, it was morning. (Y/n) insisted on letting her go to work today. I didn't completely agree because you never know what could happen on duty, but I ended up letting her go, since she was getting a tad bit moody about it.
"Okay love, just please be carful, call me if you need anything and I'll be right there." I gave her a kiss on the forehead as I headed off to work, I went in earlier than her today, so she would be driving herself, that also worried me, what if she got sick? A car crash? Anything could happen. But I knew that I was worrying way too much, I just never know what I would do in a world without (y/n).
"Hey Todoroki!" I was greeted by Midoriya again at the door.
"Hey." I said in a monotone voice, not really interested to talk right now.
"So, is everything okay? I mean with (y/n) and everything?" He scratched the back of his head, clearly nervous to bring up the topic.
"Well, yes, and no, she wants to keep the baby, but she has not been well." I kept walking straight to my desk, I wasn't trying to be rude, there was just too much on my mind.
"Wait did you say a baby?!" Iida popped out of nowhere waving his arms around. Great. I just sighed.
"I think I did hear you say baby Todoroki, is (y/n) pregnant?" Tsuyu and Uraraka came out of the door way. It felt like everyone was cornering me.
"Are you sure you kept it a secret Midoriya?" I asked with my head still looking straight.
"Y-y-y-yes?" I sighed and walked away from everyone getting ready for work, but I was so distracted, I wanted to know how (y/n) was doing, but I know she would be upset if I said anything, the hormones must be kicking in already. So I came to the conclusion to text Bakugo, I know him and Kirishima were on duty today.
Shoto- "Hey, is (y/n) there?"
Bakugo- "why don't you just ask her, isn't she your wife half and half?"of course Bakugo had to be difficult.
Shoto- "look, she's pregnant I just want to know if she got there safe." I just couldn't take it anymore today, I wasn't in the mood to wait for an answer. Luckily for me Bakugo called me 5 minutes later after I sent the text.
Bakugo- "I had to call to make sure I read your text right, half and half!" He sounded more shocked than angry.
Shoto- " I don't recall misspelling anything, I just want to know if she's there Bakugo."
Bakugo-" of course she's here idiot. Did you guys get in a fight or something?" He asked curiously.
Shoto-"Not exactly, it's more a situation that If I asked she would be mad, I think the hormones are kicking in already. She told me this morning that she doesn't need a babysitter. Just keep and eye on her please, don't let her do anything reckless like run into danger."
Bakugo- "yeah, yeah, whatever, I'll watch her. Maybe get some sleep, you sound like Shit."
With that he hung up. Even though it sounded rude I knew that was his weird way of showing that he cared.
Your POV
I left off to work, I wasn't feeling 100% at all, but I decided patrolling areas wouldn't do any harm.
Once I got there Mina ran up and hugged me.
"Where have you been?? You left me patrolling alone." She said dramatic voice.
"I'm sorry.. heh." I scratched the back of my head.
"Are you feeling better at least?" Her voice changed from joking to concerned.
"Not 100% but there's a lot of reasons behind it" I didn't really feel like telling Mina that I was pregnant yet, just because she gets very dramatic and then asks a lot of questions, she will eventually find out though. You can't exactly hide that your pregnant.
"Hmm okay then! What are the reasons?" She curiously asked.
"Don't worry about it." I simply responded.
"Awww." She wined in defeat.
"Anyways I should probably get to patrolling." We said our goodbyes and I went inside the agency.
"Come with me." I was kindly greeted by the one and only Katsuki.
"I've been out for 2 days and your going to yank my arm right back out the door?" Me and Bakugo had a hate love relationship at this point. We would always pointlessly argue, but then he was always there when I needed help with something.
"Shut up shitty girl, were patrolling together and I've been covering your shifts for the past two days so suck it up." He angrily said back to me.
"I don't want to patrol with you your annoying."
"Say that again!" He yelled back, but his anger was nothing but funny to me.
"Hey stop laughing!" But his anger was cut off by his phone getting a text message. He looked at it then a couple minutes later claimed
"He had to use the bathroom." I just rolled my eyes and sat down waiting. My legs were getting tired and I was honestly getting pretty hungry. Maybe Shoto was right I should have stayed home. I felt a bit bad about how I was being difficult this morning with him, and he still reacted caring and nicely. I don't deserve someone as good as him. A few minutes later Katsuki came back.
"Are you finally ready to go?" I was getting a bit impatient.
"Yeah, yeah, let's go."
....
After a while of arguing and having random conversations. I started to feel dizzy, very dizzy, followed up by a headache, and a huge wave of nausea. My walking started to slow as everything was slowly turning black.
"Hey! Hurry it up." Katsuki looked back at me only to see a pale look on my face, then suddenly I fell over and everything went black.
Shoto's POV
I've been at work for about 4 hours now, office work was always boring. Everything seemed fine until I seen Bakugo's name come up on my phone. Instantly a million of thoughts started to go through my head. What could he be calling me for?
Shoto- "Hello?"
Bakugo- "hey you need to get to the hospital right now, (y/n) just collapsed on the ground. She hit her head pretty hard."
I stayed silent. Before I could even think I just hung up the phone and quickly gathered my stuff.
"Midoriya, I'm leaving, (y/n)'s in the hospital." That seemed to catch everyone's attention, but I ignored the questions and continued to push through whatever was in my way. I had no time for questions. All that was on my mind was (y/n). I told her she shouldn't have went to work. But at the same time, maybe it was a good thing, because she would have been alone and it could have been much worst finding her later, then someone taking care of it right away.
I made my way to the hospital as quick as possible. Once I got there they immediately let me in her room.
There was a bandage around her head, and a iv in her arm, they also had some stuff connected to her stomach, probably to make sure the baby was okay.
"(Y/n)? What happened? Are you okay?" I walked up to her bed in a hurry and hugged her tightly, but not tight enough to hurt her. I felt my eyes starting to water, but I held back those tears.
"I'm fine. I just hit my head when I fell!" She gave me her brightest smile, telling me that everything was okay.
"How did you fall?" I Asked her, still keeping her close.
"It was just all of a sudden I guess. I just had a wave of sickness then got really dizzy, it was weird." She is always making me worry about her.
"Are you feeling better not at least?"
"For the most part, I just still feel a little weird, and tired." I gave her a kiss on the cheek, then forehead, and then finally lips.
"I love you so much." I said breaking the kiss
"I love you too Shoto."
Sorry the chapter is a little late, but at least it's sort of a longer one :)
As always thank you everyone for the support I get on this book, I very much appreciate it :)
