Todoroki's POV
I'm going to find a way to stop this. I promise.
I can't bealive (y/n) lost her whole memory of fighting the hero killer. I hate that her last memory was me telling her the bad news. I spent a little more time with her then I pressed the button to call the nurses in.
"Hello- Oh I see your awake miss (l/n)." (Y/n) smiled painfully at the nurse.
"She lost her memory of what happened." I said looking at the ground, sitting in the chair by (y/n)s bed.
"You don't remember anything?" The nurse said in shock.
"No. Last thing I remember is having a conversation with Todoroki." I grabbed her hand for comfort.
"Oh. I'll go get the doctor." She smiled politely at us.
"I'll be right back." I gave (y/n) a peck on the cheek and she nodded.
I walked out the hospital room, and went over to where Midoriya and Lida were to see if they heard anything about the incident.
"Oh hey Todoroki!" Midoriya looked up at me with a smile. Lida nodded at me.
"Hows your arm?" Lida asked.
"nothing to worry about." They put bandages around my arm as soon as Lida and Midoriya got here at the hospital then I went to (y/n)s room after they patched me up.
"Hows (y/n)?" Midoriya asked with an worried expression on his face.
"She has no memory of the fight, the last thing she remembers is getting a message, but she has no idea it was from you." Midoriya and Lida's eyes widened in shock.
"S-she lost her memory? And it's all my fault for my reckless actions." Lida looked down to the ground.
"Stop with your talking, I been hearing you complaining about how it's your fault all day and night when we simply said we understand." I told Lida kinda harshly, but I was in no mood to play nice.
"T-todoroki!" Midoriya exclaimed from my sudden harshness.
"It's fine Midoriya. I understand Todoroki." Lida gave me a slight smile.
"Sorry for the sudden harshness. But did they say anything about (y/n)... You know." I questioned, that was the one question I came in here for, I also wanted to make sure they were doing well.
"U-um yeah." Midoriya pointed a finger up in the air and gave a sad look down.
"And?" I asked curiously
"They said that they were going to claim it as self defence, though we're not suppose to use our quirks yet outside of school and no pro hero wanted to take the blame for murdering the hero killer, they said that the story would be that the pro heros fought him off and the hero killer ended up commiting suicide." Midoriya explained to me.
"That's better than (y/n) getting framed." I sighed.
"Oh and one more thing." Midoriya said, he looked nervous to say it. I raised and eyebrow at him.
"(Y/n)s brother got taken from the pro heros watch by the league of villains.." I instantly remembered the day my dad captured him.
"How could they have let him get away?" I questioned to myself out loud.
"I don't know, but there assuming he's going to stay in hiding for a while." I nodded my head slightly.
"But assumptions doesn't tell what hes planning to do, I'm going back to (y/n) now. Thanks for updating me."
"Of course." Lida and Midoriya said at the same time. And with that I made my way to (y/n)s room.
Your POV
Todoroki left the room and I couldn't help but wonder.. What happened? No one explained it to me or even went into any detail about what happened and why I'm here. It sort of annoyed me, maybe I'll ask Todoroki when he gets back.
I was interrupted by my thoughts when I heard a knock at the door.
"(Y/n) (L/n)." I guess the doctor was in the room.
"Yes?" I weakly said.
"Hi, so it seems that you have lost some of you memory due to falling to the ground too hard, but everything else looks fine, your surgery may take a month or so to heal, but we will have regular check ups." The doctor smiled at me while reading off of a paper.
"So your free to go when your ready but may I ask, who's going to take you home?" I got a little sad remembering my mom, she was still missing and it broke me to pieces.
"U-um, can you give me a minute to figure that out?" I asked.
"Sure thing, just press the button on the side of your bed when your ready to go." I smiled and nodded at him and with that he left the room and shut the door behind him. I let out a long sigh.
I heard a ringing noise and reached over at the side of my bed to see who it was, and I immediately picked up when I saw the caller ID.
"(F/N)!"
"Hey, I heard you were in the hospital, wanted to Check up on you." She had a worried tone in her voice
"I'm fine, there releasing me today.. Just have to find out who's taking me home..." I akwardly laughed.
"Oh yeah, I meant to update you on your mom, she is indeed with the league of villains, she's still alive and breathing just needs saving, and it also looks like your brother escaped where ever he was at.. So just be careful, the rest is up to you." The rest is up to me? I thought to myself.
"That's a lot of pressure, it's making me nervouse."
"Don't be.. Just don't let anyone tell you who you are.. Stick with your boyfriend, I'm pretty sure he'll take you home, or even ask your father, he definitely will." I smiled to myself.
"Thank you, you've been such a good friend."
" Haha it's no problem, but I'll check up on you later-"
"Wait!" I needed to ask her one more thing.
"What is it?" She asked curiously.
"Do you know what memory I lost? Or how I got into a hospital? I don't remember much." I heard her sigh.
"It's best that you don't find out."
"But I want to know."
"Just trust me." Was the last thing she said
"I have to go now, hang in there, bye."
"Alright, bye then.." She hung up the phone.
I looked up, I didn't even realize Shoto walked in.
"You okay, you look pale." He put a hand on my forehead trying to find out if I had a fever.
"No, no I'm fine, they said I can go, just going to be in pain from the surgery." I lightly put my hand on my stomach.
"Who's taking you home?" He sat next to me, once again.
"I'm not sure, I can call Allmight, but I don't want to inturupt his hero work." Shoto smiled at me.
"I'll take you home." He rubbed my leg a little which made butterflies flutter around in my stomach.
"O-Okay." I stuttered.
He smiled again and got up to I'm guessing to get a nurse.
About 20 minutes later Todoroki came, back.
"Why'd it take so long?" I asked him.
"I didn't want you going back into a hospital gown so I went to my house to get some clothes for you."
He gave me a pile of his clothes, that were of course too big for me, but it works, they were also his clothes so I wasnt complaining. The nurses came in to take off everything I was hooked up to and told me that it's best if I use a wheel chair for a couple of days. I really didn't want to, if I was being honest I wanted to practice using my quirks more. I also wanted to find my mother, now that I knew she was with the league of villains I had a lead, I just had to find out where they were hiding out at. I really missed her, it was like a constant pain in my chest reminding me that she was missing. At least I had Shoto to keep me distracted.
After the nurse left I put on Shoto's clothes without getting off of the bed, I still felt a lot of intense pain in my stomach, I still also had a lot of questions, I just didn't have the energy to ask them all at once right now. I wanted to go home and sleep. I sat down on the wheel chair and wheeled my way to the door.
Once I got out the door, Shoto had a sad look on his face, and he was holding my stuff that I'm guessing I came here with, he put the stuff in a little bag that was in the back of the wheel chair and started to roll me out of the hospital.
"Are you okay? You look down." I asked him curiously. He gave me a sad smile.
"I just don't like seeing you like this." I felt a smile creep up on my face.
"Well I'm fine now, I just want to go home and sleep." I said while leaning back into my wheel chair and closing my eyes. Shoto chuckled.
" Do you want to come to my house? No ones home but my sister, and I don't Want you to be at home alone, I can take you back when Allmight gets back from his duties." I smiled while my eyes were still closed. I would love to spend more time with Shoto but, I didn't want him to take me back when Allmight was in his weak form, plus I didn't want him to stop doing his intership because of me.
"That sounds nice, but you still have an intership to get back to." I opened my eyes and turned to him only to be greeted by pain. I hissed and held my stomach.
"Hey take it easy." Shoto said slowing down his walking and making sure I was alright.
"I'll be fine I just need some rest, take me to my mother's house and Ill keep you updated, you don't want to miss the rest of your intership." I gave him a reasurring smile.
"Fine." He sighed.
"But you have to check in every once in a while."
"I will."
