"Hey Hyun Soo! Where are you? I am outside the cafe come and meet me here."
Young Hee's message made Hyun Soo's phone blink inside the pocket of her apron which she had worn as a uniform of the cafe along with a cap.
As soon as Hyun Soo looked at the message she felt so delighted that she left the cage without even informing Do Yun who is now working all alone, serving and taking orders too as his only colleague had left her work in the middle just a moment ago.
"Here! Here we are!" Young Hee exclaimed being rejoiced and waved her arms vigorously as she saw Hyun Soo finding her in the front shops or the right side while they stood on the left few steps away from the cafe.
Hyun Soo smiled as she saw Young Hee standing under a street light but the guy standing beside her made her think who he was. And all her smile vanished as the image of the man became clearer and clearer by every passing step.
Frowning while trying to figure out what was Young Hee's purpose to tag that guy along with her up to here she exclaimed within herself,
"Dong Hee?!"
"Hyun Soo!" Young Hee exclaimed being rejoiced as soon as Hyun Soo reached near her.
She sighed as she hugged Hyun Soo and said,
"How come someone is so busy with just a part-time job?" Her sarcasm made Hyun Soo bite her tongue.
"Well, how have you been all these days?" Hyun Soo asked finally they finally stood away after hugging.
"All is fine! I got a job and I'm quite happy with it."
"Got a job?!" Hyun Soo exclaimed while her eyes widened.
"That's good news." She exclaimed with joy and Young Hee flipped her in style making both of them chuckle.
"I had to ask one more thing. This the same cafe in which that cute guy works, right?" Young Hee whispered to Hyun Soo and she blushed a bit.
Nodding lightly she replied,
"True!"
"Is he really that cute, I mean how girls talk about him. Have you met him?" She asked further.
"I met him? I even had lunch with him today." Hyun Soo bragged and Young Hee gasped.
"Really?" She asked.
"Hmm!" Hyun Soo nodded energetically.
"He is not cute he is too cute!"
"I told you he is!"
Young Hee replied and they both chuckled within themselves but someone coughed in between their conversation. Talking to each other or to be more factual, fangirling over a coffee shop boy they almost forgot that Dong Hee was also standing there.
"Ah! Sorry, Dong Hee!" Young Hee exclaimed while Hyun Soo turned and looked at Dong Hee with a stern blank face.
He just waved his hand lightly and replied genuinely,
"It's fine! Also, I just tagged along with you while the meeting of just you two was planned."
And looked at Hyun Soo and expecting some sympathy. But to his surprise, Hyun Soo just nodded slightly with the same stern expressions.
Shaking off his disappointment he felt just now he said,
"Anyways, I just wanted to invite you to my birthday party, I hope you'll come and won't Vanish away in thin air like before."
With hopeful eyes twinkling for Hyun Soo, he handed her a small invitation card. He then bowed down a bit and said,
"Came here just to mee- I mean just to say this, will go now."
He looked at Hyun Soo one last time who gave her a small smile with an extra stern look holding the card in her hands placed right in front of her. He walked away without uttering anything next.
"Aye! What is all this?" Young Hee asked as she elbowed Hyun Soo's arm and looked at her.
"Hm?" She looked at Young Hee as she averted her gaze from Dong Hee.
"Why this cold treatment?"
Hyun Soo sighed a bit and replied,
"Just...keeping him away is the best, I- I don't want to break anyone's heart who loves me even a bit."
Young Hee patted her and nodded,
"You're growing good." And Hyun Soo just rolled her eyes.
"Well, would you like to meet Mr Do Yun?"
"Do Yun? Who's that?"
"The one in the cafe." Hyun Soo whispered and Young Hee's eyes twinkled.
"Can we?" She asked and Hyun Soo nodded with a big smile.
"Of course you're my friend."
Hyun Soo then grabbed her wrist and took her toward the cafe. They were about to enter when Someone blocked their path.
"Mr Do Yun!" Hyun Soo whispered lightly as she almost bumped into him. While Young Hee stood there looking at Do Yun who was sternly looking at Hyun Soo.
"Ms Hyun Soo?" Do Yun cold voice made Hyun Soo shiver inside.
"Yes?" Hyun Soo barely whispered.
"Where did you go leaving your work behind?"
"I-" She stuttered and sadness was written on her face.
Young Hee stood behind her trying to understand what was going on.
"You didn't even pick your phone up?" He spoke up again.
"Phone!" Hyun Soo exclaimed and checked the pocket of her jeans but there was none and as she looked up she saw Do Yun holding her phone up in the air.
"Ah! Right, I-I forgot it in the apron." She mumbled.
"I-I'm sorry Mr Park Do Yun." She said pouting her lips.
"How can...you be so careless Ms Hyun Soo?"
His voice is cold and monotonous, he isn't scolding her but isn't even questioning her. What kind of treatment is this? Hyun Soo thought.
Do Yun sighed slightly and looked at Young Hee for a second and went inside without giving Hyun Soo a chance to explain herself.
"I'm sorry, Hyun Soo. Because of me...you got scolded." Young Hee said as she put her hand on Hyun Soo's which was still holding her wrist. Hyun Soo turned her head slightly toward her right.
Watching her friend through the corner of her eyes she shook her head and said,
"No, it was my fault. I was careless, I...I should've informed him at least."
"I'll go now, I don't want you to be scolded again. Let's meet someday else when you're free."
Hyun Soo nodded at her reply and she left.
Left outside Hyun Soo went inside the cafe, some customers were still left and Do Yun was busy in taking order and serving at the same time. Hyun Soo looked at him who was quite busy and so she quietly went towards the counter to start taking orders again.
"What would you like to have? Asked the customer who had just now arrived.
"A hot chocolate with whipped cream." A man said wearing a black mask.
Hyun Soo nodded,
"You may wait here or take a seat I'll serve you there." She said while looking down as she wrote down the order on the notepad.
"I'll wait at the corner table." He said and walked away.
Hyun Soo and turned around to make the order. She tried making it but it was her first time and so didn't go well.
"Tch!" She exclaimed as sadness had drowned her all energy.
"Move aside, Lemme do it." Do Yun pushed her aside slightly and took the glass from her hand.
Hyun Soo looked at him and suddenly frowned,
"What is this? She asked as she looked at him.
"Hmm?" Do Yun averted his gaze from the glass.
"I mean...why...are you wearing those...sunglasses again?"
"Ah! This? I like them." He simply answered and looked away.
After the order was completed Hyun Soo went to give it to the man which it belonged to.
"Here's your order sir." She said and he replied.
"Will you sit here for a while?"
"Huh?" Hyun Soo asked not being sure.
"My name is In Han Gyeol." He said as he removed his mask, making Hyun Soo gasp...
