Chapter 10 - Tyler

I really like the girl, walking before me. She looks awful in that gray uniform, but her happiness overwrite the dullness of the clothes. She is like a forest fairy, swaying above the ground. Don't worry, I don't want a quick thing in the woods, I am just watching her with professional eyes. She has great muscles, the proportion, the elaboration is nearly perfect. Her curves are muscular, but feminine. She certainly practices martial arts, but not for pleasure: her back is slightly asymmetric, to the left side. Maybe she does it for the treatment of her spine. Unfortunately. She probably doesn't really like martial arts, or else Savannah would have brought her to the camp too. There are pictures coming into my head how to correct her spine, and attitude, and I see her with my inner eyes on the first place of the stand with a golden medal. It looks like my accidental travel guide has better basics, than the Hillard twins.

She is tall. Taller than Taylor, but a bit smaller than Savannah. She is around Erica's height, so this girl would be a perfect training partner for her. Maybe she could be my student. I am a bit enthusiastic, but I don't want to rush on her. I will ask Savannah first, my sister surely knows her. Now, I am satisfied with simply following her light footsteps. I am so immersed in my dreams, and her look, that her sudden stop surprise me. I haven't expected her to stop here, but I see why she did. Looking far, above her shoulder, the Hillard twins and my sisters' meeting becomes a little bit too intimate. Her aura is changed, like she is pushed down to the ground. Probably she wants to avoid those people on the crossroad. It is not a good news to me, my sisters are are likely not her favorites, but I could contact her by myself later. Somebody surely knows her. When the Hillards and my sisters are vanished from our sight, the girl's shoulders shakes a bit. Her breath becomes erratic, and quietly moans. She is in pain.

"Are you all right?"

Somehow I feel sorry for her, despite I don't really know what's happened earlier. I can't stop myself from asking her, and the girl reacts fast. She takes up defensive pose in a second, but that pose is not perfect. I see, what her school-bag has covered from me until now. Her left arm is plastered, in an old-fashioned way: with parget. This is not widely used nowadays, because of its weight, but it is also cheap, so I suppose she is not from a wealthy family, who could pay a better solution for her.

I lift up my hands, an show her my palms, to soothe her. I don't want to attack her. I know from the movie shooting, that girls in her age are dangerous. They want to be an adult, but, if someone treats them like an adult, they open their claws, and their scratches are run too deep. Especially on the bank cards. So I don't say anything, just stand in front of her. It takes her some time to relax. I use this time to make a better look on her front.

Her brown eyes are beautiful, especially because wetness makes her iris bigger. Her face is well-proportioned, attractive. Simply cute. Despite her face, she wouldn't be so popular among boys: she hasn't got breast. Plain, like the Great Plane.

"Relax, I don't want to hurt you."

I tell her, when I realize we stand in front of each other like we would have been in a ring.

"Are you all right?"

It was a big fault to watch into her eyes. I am immediately immersed in the pain in her brown eyes, and it hurts me too. It feels like an abandoned, love-filled puppy would have been standing in front of me. My hand involuntarily moves to caress her head, but I force to stop. I would be misunderstood. It is no wonder, we are living in such a world. She force the tears back into her eyes. Life is cruel.

"Everything is okay."

Her answer is barely audible, and she manage to take a few nods. She is lying. It is so obvious, but I leave her the faith, that I believe her, and don't even notice her pain. Sometimes it could save a life. She sure is a prideful girl.

"I would like to go to the local high school, and I feel, I am lost. Could you..."

"Go to that crossroad, and turn right. The school is at the end of the road."

She doesn't say more, just suddenly run away in the opposite direction. A few seconds later I hear her crying. The forest around us lives, like nothing happened. The birds are chirping, the wind plays with the leaves. I feel sorry for this girl. There is no one in this world, who are interested is her pain. Even I decide to leave her alone with her sorrow, since she is not in need of companion. She would be a lone wolf, according to her behavior. I would have started to walk away, when I spot her school bag on the ground. She dropped it while we were talking. I pick up, and put into my backpack. It is safer, than leaving on the ground. Thieves are everywhere, even in this town. For example Sylvia's not-so-new husband.

The way to the school is so simple, that no one could take a mistake. The road snakes a bit, but easy to follow. There are no walking kids on the road, but there are a lot of cars. At the entrance of the school, I hesitate a bit. How could I find Savannah in this foreign place? The schoolyard is full of student, the uniforms makes them a gray mass. I can't find my sisters, or their friends.

I would not have to worry, I am recognized by Yvonne Hillard. That girl is cheerfully runs to me, hooks on my arm, and lead me to Taylor and Ivo. Those two are impolitely immersed in kissing, but they have to stop, because more students are starting to gather around us. They are the part of the martial arts' club, so when they are told, that I am the new trainer's brother, they all want to shake my hands. I have to realize, that my sisters are popular here, all of the kids tell me, they love them, and praise them. My feelings are a bit complex, but basically I am glad, that Taylor and Savannah have found their place. It seems, this town is perfect for them: they are granted and happy.

Fortunately the bell chimes, and the crowd around me lessen. Ivo and Taylor used the time, and they are kissing again. Well, new couples do the same, but I have to be the cruel one, who breaks them apart. I knock my sister's shoulder, and ask about Savannah. Well, Taylor is not in the mood of giving instructions, she has better things to do, than informing me, so she bites. Literally. Savannah is in her room, at the gym.

"...and the gym is?" I ask her, but it is not her to answer, but Yvonne Hillard.

"I show the way to you." She says with a wide smile, and hooks my arm again.

Yvonne's smile is so happy, that I am unable to pull my arm away from her squeeze. She is cute, but Ian's warning is in my head. Although she doesn't do anything suspicious, I am a bit restrained. I hope she gets the hint. I am not sure, if she gets any, Yvonne just carefully chirping about the summer in the camp, my sisters, Ivo, the tents, the food, and how she loves all of them. Sometimes I say a "good", and "great", when she takes a breath. I don't need to do more to maintain the conversation. The gym is turned out to be very gorgeous. The builder put a new building among very old and big trees, and the sight became perfect. When we arrive to Savannah's room, Yvonne simply opens the door, and enter. To a teacher's office. My bewilderment would be visible, because she informs me, that it is allowed to her, so I also could go and take a seat.

"It is your sister's room, after all." She said smiling.

She grabs my hand, pulls me to the office, and shows a big armchair to sit down. I am a bit tired, so I take the offer, and fall into the armchair. I hope Yvonne leaves, so I open my mouth to thank her the guidance, when she sits on the rail on the chair, and makes a very big smile. I froze, but I instantly jump out of the chair, when she suddenly caress my upper arm. This girls is really in love with me, and now tries to seduce me! Or her intention is raping me?! Her face only shows some confusion.

"But Tyler..." She stutters, and directly watch the front part of my trousers.

She could watch, but my little one is frightened too: it has shrunken to a miniature size. Even he doesn't want me to frame with abusing, or raping a young girl.

"Go and find Savannah, please." I ask her, but she doesn't move.

"But..."

A harsh voice splits into the silence.

"You have been asked for a task!"
