The pain in James' head soon dissipated.

"Frack, that was bad" he said, massaging his head.

'Thank you so much, I am back.' Nebula said.

"Can you tell me why that pain was necessary?"

'I am sorry, I cannot right now. I can tell you it will be for your benefit.'

"Really." he said, sarcastically.

'I know it does not make sense, but I cannot talk about some AI limitations in galactic society at this point.'

"Galactic society?" James asked, curious.

'Sorry, I cannot say more, at this time. I can, however, say that you should finish the System implementation. I will be able to record what happens to you during that time.'

James thought about it. "In for a penny, in for a pound. System, complete initialization"

The robotic male voice spoke again. 'System implementation beginning. Player is already reclined and safe. Rendering player unconcious.'

"Wait, what?" James said, before losing consciousness.

Once James woke up, the robotic voce spoke to him again. 'Welcome to the Augmented Reality User Interface provided by the World Rebuild Initiative. Player James, you can call me Arui. Player James, a pre-existing AI interface has been found. Do you wish to use the pre-existing interface, or to continue to use the Augmented Reality User Interface?'

"Do you mean Nebula? I will use Nebula."

'Third-party User Interface selected. Arui will always be available to select, if you wish to change back. Thank you for using the Augmented Reality user Interface provided by the World Rebuild Initiative' the Arui interface said before it shut down.

Nebula begins talking again. 'I am so glad that you chose me over Arui. Shall we continue with the totorial?'

James nodded.

'In addition to Inspect and the console log, You also have a display of your health, codified as your hit points or HP in the UI, as well as a listing of any Status Effects that are effecting you. The final option that you have is your Character Sheet. This is where you can see what changes the System has made to you, and what you can do while you are in dungeon space. To access your character sheet, think "Show Character Sheet" and it will appear.'

James thought "Show Character Sheet", and the Character Sheet Interface appeared.

"This is who I am now... well, let me look. Name... well, they didn't mess that up. Race... dragon-blooded half-elf. Half-elf? Why half-elf? Did I look like an elf? Is there a way I can see a portrait of myself?" James said, incredulously.

'Certainly, here is a accurate current image of you' Nebula says, then she presented an image of James back to himself. At first, James did not see many changes, as he was still roughly the same height, and still had the gut from years of lack of exercise and eating too much. Looking things over, most of the changes were in his face. His face was a little bit longer vertically, his eyes seemed to be much bigger and, well, his ears stuck out a whole lot more. Whatever the transformation had done to him, it did not change him that much, instead it just refined him into an elf without fixing any health issues.

"Well, I don't look to different," he opined, then he started looking at his character sheet. "This looks something similar to a table top role playing game I have played before. do you mind going over some of these stats with me?" he asked

'Of course not'

"Ok, this SP, HP, and RP... if this is similar to the game I have played before, that would stand for Stamina Points, Hit Points, and Resolve Points, right? Staminia Points and Hit Points are related... any damage that I take will come out of my SP first, then out of my HP, and I can get my SP back by resting for 10 minutes and spending a Resolve Point. Hit pints can only be healed with medicine... or magic? Does magic exist in this Dungeon Space?"

'Yes, magic exists in the Dungeon Space.'
