.....
"It's so damn dark...." Lee would mutter as a kunai whiz past his ear drawing blood. Blindfolded and with his ears plugged, Lee pulling all his concentration slightly adjusted his posture to dodge as two kunai flew past his torso and shoulder. The kunai would grow exponentially, sweat flowing slowly down his face only to drop onto the cold hardwood beneath him.
Lee without a shirt used his bare skin to feel any slight fluctuations in the air. Almost a full month of this type of training had made Lee bored but it had brought him great progress. "When will that old coot teach me the leaf dragon god...." Lee would mutter as he used Tekkai to block a huge wave of kunai he was incapable of dodging. The sound of metal bending and creaking filled the room, a sound unpleasant if Lee wasn't already deaf from the earplugs.
"That's impossible old man..." Lee would mummer in annoyance before feeling an extremely powerful gust of wind launch towards him. Thinking quickly, he used soru and blasted out of the wooden walls of the building using a chakra-enhanced fist. With his off hand, he took off his blindfold while turning his head.
Roaring, a gigantic wind dragon was quickly approaching him. "God damn it you old coot!" Lee would scream as a tic mark appeared on his forehead. "Isn't the pace change a bit too much?" Breathing in, he would activate the 3rd stage of heavenly breath. Using Geppo and Soru in tandem, he flew into the dragon's maw and rotated himself extremely fast to offset the wind pressure rotation. Laughing, Lee would disperse the attack and let his guard down.
But out of nowhere, another dragon appeared on his side causing his eyes to widen. In the nick of time, he managed to use tekkai before it bit him and slammed him into the ground. With a plume of dust, Lee would cough in both pain and discomfort. Using a leaf hurricane to throw the plume of dust away, he would deactivate his 3rd stage to catch a breath before turning around. Looking on the rooftop, he would see Old Man Chen sitting down casually with a shit-eating grin on his face.
Adjusting his posture, Chen would begin to mock Lee. "You want to use my secret technique? That's hilarious....." Standing up, he jumped off the roof casually and landed on the ground with a nasty crack on his back. Rubbing it slightly in annoyance, he continued with a dead serious face. "Master the basics first before getting ahead of yourself."
Lee in annoyance put one hand behind his back and assumed a fighting stance. "You and I both know my basics are great old man....", Growling Lee would wave for his temporary master to come forward. "... So put the pedal on the gas old man."
Chen still smiling casually straightened his back before getting into his stance. "The hell is putting 'the pedal on the gas' kiddo. Some new slang you youngsters use?" A toothy grin appeared on his face, he waved his hand towards Lee. "But it's old school to challenge the master kiddo... or did you forget your standing?"
Launching forward Lee would begin to put pressure on Chen while the old man casually jumped around and dodged. Chen showing almost supernatural levels of energy while also throwing in shots now and then controlling the pace. Lee knowing the old man had him figured out due to the month they'd been together let out a smile as his attack pattern changed.
'Strong fist is too rigid to hit someone like the Old man.' Lee would once again tell himself before a sly smile showed on his face. Master Chen seeing his smile would only raise an eyebrow still dodging like he was still on vacation. "Old man...." Lee would say seriously as an illusion of water began to cover his fists, "Don't die of a heart attack from shock."
And like a tsunami, a barrage of powerful streams of fists began to pour down on Chen. Offset by the change in attack, Chen would counter more while taking some blows now and then. Slowly being pushed back Chen would make an audible click of his tongue before jumping back to gain distance from Lee. 'It's like a constant downpour, no, like a river.' Chen would think before Lee appeared in his face again. Widening his eyes, he would put his arms up to block.
"Don't bother blocking." Lee would say with a look of pure focus and the light blue streams his fists created turned darker. "My fists are extremely heavy." With extreme control, Lee would pummel Chen's guard with an extreme barrage of fists. With chakra-enhanced fists layered and his new style, Chen's arms fractured as his guard blew into the air leaving him open. Chen not giving up in panic threw a kick into the air as a mighty wind tornado formed and pushed Lee away.
Lee with a smug smirk, put his hands on his hips as the dragon formed. "So what was it about the basics you old coot?" Chen annoyed let the dragon dissipate before letting out a long sigh. His arms by his side unable to move he walked up the Lee with a serious expression.
"So..." Chen would say before letting out a proud smile. His initial goal of combining the Rock Fist with his own had finally shown itself. "What's the new style's name?"
Lee with a shake of his head would answer, "Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist", showing the afterimage of water flowing as threw a combination.
Chen hearing this let out a nod of affirmation. "That would certainly be a fitting name. Power and Defense mixed into one." Groaning as the pain in his arms flared up, he would let out a nod. "Yes... you are certainly ready now...."
"I'll teach you the Leaf Dragon God."

(Lee's Point of View)
'Walking down the familiar street at night is always relaxing.' I thought quietly with a smirk on my face while slowly remembering the shock on the old man's face. It was worth figuring out how that old man from One Punch Man fought. Chen's teaching and Guy's helped in recreating it.
With the dim lights casting shadows on the road, I watched the kids of the village sneaking out and about. With the final round being in 5 days, I'm sure these kids have some spirit to go play ninja behind their parent's back.... parents. I wonder if things would have been different had it been Lee's parents instead of my aunt. Looking up at the moon in thought, I put a finger on my chin in thought before letting out a sigh.
"Would have just messed with my training time," I muttered as arrived at the apartment complex. Walking up the steps, I arrived before the door and used the spare keys in one of my ninja pouches to unlock and enter. Taking off my shoes, I went into the kitchen to try and find a quick bit of protein.
With the kitchen lights on, my aunt sleeping at the kitchen table had a plate of cold food set on the table. Sighing, I walked back towards the front door and grabbed one of her coats. Once back in the kitchen, I laid the jacket on her shoulders careful not to wake her. 'The ninja training to be sneaky sure is helpful.' I would think as I watched her peacefully sleep.
Looking towards a plate I presume to be made for me. I let out of a soft smile before warming it up and enjoying it. While eating a knock was heard at the front door. Instincts kicking in from my time on missions, I found a kunai already in my hands with a slight shake to them. Taking a deep breath I calmed myself down before going to answer.
"Lee....." Neji's tired voice was heard through the door causing me to raise an eyebrow. "I need some help...." He would say in the same exhausted tone. Chuckling I opened the door to see a shell-shocked Neji looking at me. "The hell has you coming to me for help?" I questioned as he immediately barged into the home and quietly closed the door seeing me glare at him.
Almost instantly, he sat down on the wall and took a deep breath before smiling. Baggy eyes stared up at me with a hinge of madness in them. "The Hokage that's what. That old man keeps wringing every bit of chakra out of me during our training. While he wasn't looking, I ran here."
While talking, a noise was heard from the kitchen as my aunt walked in with a tired look. Looking at Neji, she whistled with a grind. "Friend of yours Lee?" With a confused look, I stared at her.
Seeing my stare, she chuckled with a tinge of sadness. "You don't bring friends home Lee." A feeling of realization hit and I smacked my fist into my palm. And then with a smile, I picked Neji up off the floor and put my arm around his shoulder.
"Meet Neji Hyuga, my sparing partner, squad member, friend, and lazy bastard." Staring at Neji, she put a hand over her chin and squinted a bit examining his face. "How old is he?" She asked causing both me and Neji to stiffen a bit.
And then with a laugh, she walked up and smacked us on the shoulders. "Just kidding kids, I'm not a wild animal." And then with a quick look away said something quietly. "Unless he's old enough...." This earned a quick what of horror from both me and Neji.
"Nothing." She chuckled before waving us towards the kitchen. "Anyway bring your Nara-looking hyuga friend in for a bite. Your plate was made for two after all." Neji looking at me with a deadpan look on his face told me his emotional state. All I can say friend is... "That's just how she is."
....
(Day of the tournament/ D-Day)
My aunt talking with Neji learned about some of the things I went through in the academy. The bastard was holding dark history on me for a while... tsk. Serves him right that the Hokage showed up and dragged him away. I didn't even bat an eye as he started screaming for help with tears in his eyes. The kid needs some motivation in his life.... these gains need effort.
Standing in the middle of the arena, I felt Sasuke and Neji staring daggers into my soul. I get Sasuke, but why you buddy? It truly hurts my heart. Looking forward, I stared at Lord Grandpa Hokage and the 'mysterious Kazekage' sitting down staring at us. Why we haven't begun you ask? Well, that's obvious.
With a bang, the huge metal doors of the arena slammed open as Naruto came running in with a pack of bulls. How did he somehow become the David of Bulls.... don't ask me. Ever since training him, he's been in some situations even I can't fathom. Like seriously, how, When, and Where, did he manage to get a bunch of bulls chasing him?
Quickly responding to the situation, the Chunin and Jonin on standby peacefully resolved the situation with an angry Iruka in the stands yelling at Naruto. The Hokage already used to his antics just smoked a huff of smoke from his pipe. What is in that pipe anyway? Ninja Weed?
Once calm, the Hokage stood up and let out of cough. Instantly his voice powered by chakra spread through the whole arena. "As the last contestant has arrived. We will now proceed to begin the fights for today. The first fight will be Neji Hyuga against Kankuro. I wish both contestants luck." The Hokage would say before sending a glare at Neji.
Seeing Neji stiffen let a chuckle of me. That chuckle of course led to a death glare.... but hey? You're calm now, right? Be thankful you lazy bastard! But let it be known... if you by some absolute miracle lose... Both me and Hokage will punish you!
