Riley POV
Esa paddled over towards me with a slightly apprehensive look on his face. I tried not to laugh at my best friend's face. He never liked the water even as a child. My cousin wasn't one for splashing about. My father almost popped a blood vessel when he refused to learn how to swim with the rest of the warriors. Not that I loved the water but I was hardly as much as a scaredy-cat as Desaley was.
"You know that if you swim underwater it's faster?" I joked. He glared at me.
"I would like to keep this green shit out of my mouth," he said and pursed his lips.
I chuckled and splashed water at him and his eyes widened as he tried, and failed, to fight off the water attach. He was also twitching in the water like a lopsided chicken with its head cut off as he tried to get back to swimming form.
