"Are you ready for today?" Maleek asked as he sat down at the edge of the cliff. He did not bother to look at the stressed-out princess as she paced up and down the ledge of the cliff. She was totally immersed in her own drama that she was not even paying attention to the spirit of the prince in front of her.
She was literally too distracted to pay attention to her own ancestral spirit guide.
"I'm sorry… uh… what?" She stuttered.
"Today," he said again.
She was definitely not ready for today. She was getting married to the woman she'd been in love with since she was 11 years old. This was one of the things that she'd wanted for as long as she could remember but somehow it still did not feel quite right. She was nervous and uncertain. Mostly she was scared. She was getting everything that she ever wanted but not in the way she hoped it would happen. Not when her heart was already claimed, and her hopes and dreams were tied up in someone else.
