CRASH*
The arch demon slowly tilted it's head to the left, and from a distance, it saw Yuji standing on top of a small building, locking eyes with it.
Yuji smirked as the arch demon looked directly at him, yet his knees was shaking and the feeling of fear and nervousness only toned down by little.
"I... can still focus..." Yuji said, as the arch demon slowly turned to his direction.
Suddenly, a spear like metal came flying at the arch demon at a very high speed, aiming at its head.
Swoosshh*
The arch demon notices this and quickly used it's massive right arm to sheild it's face.
BOOM*
A loud explosion emerged from the arch demons arm, where the metal spear hit, causing a cloud of smoke to block the creatures vision.
SWOOSHH*
Suddenly Yukina was standing beside Yuji.
"Wha..."
"Quick grab my hand!"
With no hesitation, Yuji held her hand tightly and began to fly away from the area.
"You think we're going to loose it here?" Yuji asked.
Suddenly, the arch demon roared violently from a distance.
"I guess not..." Yukina replied.
"Sh*t..."
"That arch demon always roars like that whenever it sees it's target running away... i just think you should know that," Yukina said.
"I see..." Yuji replied, "and any thoughts on how to loose that thing?"
"Ugh..." Yukina muttered, as if she was irritated.
"Huh?"
"All you had to do was run away!" Yukina said, "why did you bother coming back here?".
"I... can't just leave like that..."
"Why!? I told you, I already got away from that thing multiple times before,"
"How many times exactly?"
"!!" Yukina stayed silent.
"I knew it..." Yuji said as his voice slowly intensifies, matching Yukinas tone, " and also, you can't beat that thing... all you did is escape from it, how can you be so sure you'll be ok??"
"Why do you care about that?? it's not like you know me or anything! why bother check on someone's life when you could have saved yours!?"
"SAME TO YOU! Why bother saving one single life, who you don't even know the value of, and risk yours in return!?"
After a slight moment of hesitation, Yukina replied "Because... It's my job!"
"I doubt that..."
"WHAT!?"
"Your not the same as that pale guy and the woman who secured Erina,"
"Miss Liz and sir Gin..."
"So you do know them... and for the record, you look way younger than them... my point is... were the same,"
"..."
"We're going to get out of this..." Yuji said going back to his regular tone, "Now tell me... any thoughts on how you loose that thing?".
"..."
Yukina scratched her head lightly, as she gives up on the argument.
"It's eye..." Yukina said, " if I could just get one of this things on it's eye, it can blind that thing for a short moment, it'll be enough for us to get away though," Yukina said pointing at the floating metal behind her.
"For a short moment... does that mean it can regenerate?" Yuji asked.
"That's the reason why it's one of the arch demons... that things regeneration is far beyond the others, and on top of that, it's layer of skin is so thick and hard..."
"..."
"what?"
"No... nothing" Yuji said, slapping himself.
"??"
Suddenly, sounds of heavy footsteps echoes across the area, along with the rumbling of the ground.
"That thing is starting to run..." Yukina said, "We just need a little time..."
Yukina rushed to a corner of a building and puts both of them down.
"Look, this spear like thing is for stabbing, and this other one that has lines on it as an explosive one..." Yukina said, pointing out the two metals behind her.
"Then the one you threw earlier was one of those.."
"I still got three more," Yukina said, as two hand sized metal pipes levitated to her hand from her back.
"So that thing is like a bag..." Yuji thought.
Yukina presses the button on both of the metals on her hand, then the metals quickly extended it's length.
"!!"
"pretty awesome, right?" Yukina said.
"Yeah... so does those things explode on impact?"
"No, my ability is, as you can see, I can control metals telekinetically, and when one of the Spears hits that thing, I make this button on its bottom go down, thus making it explode,".
"So it won't explode even when its used as a bat..."
"Just... don't hit the bottom, if you press it manually, you'll take the explosion as well,".
"I see... then is it ok if I get one of those?"
"... Sure... just tell me if your going to throw it, so I can increase the accuracy, also to make it explode on impact,".
Yuji nodded.
"Then first we need to..."
Suddenly multiple akumas aprached them on the right, as the arch demons footsteps became louder and stronger, indicating that it's already near them.
"LET'S GO!" Yukina shouted, as she pulls out her hand.
"..."
"What are you waiting for!?"
Yuji stood still in silence, as if he was thinking.
"Go..." Yuji said, with a serious face.
"huh?"
"Distract that thing again... but this time I'll be near, I'll take care of these things first," Yuji said pointing out to the multiple akumas behind Yukina.
"I don't know what your plan is... but if it's just those, I doubt you can't handle them..."
Yukina stared at Yuji as she walked past him and sees him being completely focused on the akumas in front of him.
And so, Yukina levitated above the ground and went out in the open.
RAAAGGHHH!!
A loud growl greeted Yukina as she went passed the corner of the building.
Yukina was shocked, not knowing that the Arch demon was already that close to them.
"Over here!" Yukina shouted, as she leads the arch demon away from Yuji.
"Ok... now then..." Yuji said as he sees them move away, then glanced back at the akumas in front of him.
Yuji knocked down all of the low class Akumas on the area, using the long metal stick he got from Yukina.
"It's definitely much more efficient when there's a weapon,".
Suddenly, more akumas appeared from the far corner of the road.
"It won't end if it keeps going like this..."
Yuji ignored the akumas from the far corner and started running inside a tall building that was just beside him.
"This building is probably the same size as that thing, or lower.... but the point is to get me to high ground..."
Yuji gets up to the rooftop of the what seemed to be a hotel building.
As he gets up the rooftop, he sees Yukina being chased by the arch demon, not too far from his position.
Yuji observed the area thoroughly, getting all sorts of info.
"There are multiple things we could try, but our resources are limited..." He said as he clenches his hand on the long metal stick.
"I guess we just have to try..."
Yuji then jumps out the rooftop and landed on the top of the building beside it, as he continues to jump building after building.
"We're going to get out of this,".
