Chapter 4 - Headache - Part 2

-POV ENZO-

I was really worried about her and if she had been hurt badly by the fall, but she seemed to be more worried about how I was inside the bathroom with her. She was kind of confused and took a long time to answer my questions. I could understand that after a fall like that, who wouldn't be confused?

I tried to be brief in my explanation of how the hell I ended up in there with her. The flight attendant screamed from the other side of the door and only then I realized that we were locked up in there.

I refused to let go of her until I was sure she was really okay. She looked so helpless but even so she insisted that she just had a headache. I got up and wet a towel in the sink before handing it over.

- We have a strange way of meeting, don't we? - I said trying to get her to talk more, her silence was already making me more worried. But she just gave me a smile. Shit! - Since we're going to spend time here... - I insisted before being interrupted once again by the flight attendant on the other side of the door. What an annoying woman!

- So... what are you going to do in Italy? I heard you rehearsing a speech? Fuck I have no idea what she was thinking. - I'm kind of a curious guy. - I concluded, hoping that she would finally say something.

She answered, at first seeming not to like my interrogation, maybe to give her the precise information about where she would be, was making me look like a crazy stalker. And trying to praise her was also not helping my case at all. Their expressions looked like a Rubik's Cube and I was an idiot trying to solve it. That whole situation was kind of new to me, I didn't remember being so clumsy talking to a beautiful woman since I was in puberty. I particularly used to get along very well with women and I was always very good at winning them over. But there was something different about Marina, she did not accept my advances easily and trying to decipher her was going from being fun to becoming frustrating.

The door opened and we were finally free from that awkward situation. Nina was examined by a doctor who gave her some pain killers for the headache and said the blow had not been serious. She sat in her seat and slept for the rest of the trip, while I spent my time thinking over the past few hours since that woman dropped her damn bag on me.

Finally we landed and Nina woke up, we walked through the airport together exchanging a few words. Raoul would be waiting for me as usual. I didn't have the patience to face the traffic anymore, and only drove in cases of extreme necessity.

- So, do you need a ride? - Nina asked me. I assumed that she had already seen Raoul holding a sign with the name Barbieri on it and deduced that it was for her. It was kind of her to want to offer me a ride. Her mood seemed to have improved a little bit and she was looking at me with a smile on her face. She was a pretty woman indeed.

- No Marina, Raoul is already waiting for me. - I replied smiling back at her.

Raoul came toward us and we greeted each other, I also took the opportunity to quickly explain to him that she was going with us and he promptly went to pick up her bags as I was headed to the car. Nina started to say a few words in Italian and only then I did turn to look at her again. She stood still, trying to stop Raoul from taking her bags.

- Come on Nina, get in the car. - I said holding the door for her.

- I thought this car was for me, I was told back in the office that someone would be waiting for me, there must be some mistake. Is Barbieri a common surname here? - she replied confused. It was funny because she didn't realize who I was yet.

- There is no mistake, Nina. Raul will take us. You must be confused because of the jetlag and the hit on the head. We are going to the same congress, remember? Get in the car please, I can't wait to get to the hotel and take a shower. - Oh boy, I saw her expressions transform into something that this time was easy to understand. And I would give anything to know what she was thinking. I would discover that soon though. But it was crystal clear that she was pissed. She was pissed as fuck. And I couldn't help but have fun with that. I don't know how but she was really funny and kinda cute when she was angry.

She started to walk in my direction and stopped only a few centimeters from me and stared at me for a few moments before finally entering the car. One of his eyebrows was slightly arched and his full lips almost pouted. Angry women generally looked diabolical but Marina angry, was the devilishly sexiest thing that I have ever seen in a long time and something lit up inside of me looking at her like that. Something inside my pants to be more precise. Fuck. I was horny.

Already in the car, she was still quiet and her silence was starting to bother me. I couldn't read her expressions and I didn't know why the hell I was reacting to that woman like that, but I had to do something about that. When I questioned her the reason for the silence, she got so mad that she started to shout things that honestly, I couldn't care less.

- I did not understand. – I said when she stopped talking looking like she was waiting for me to answer something. But how could I understand anything if I was definitely not listening to a single word. All of my brain cells were having a hard time trying to understand how in the hell she was getting more and more sexy as she got angrier. How was that even possible?
