Then, she forced a grin and asked. "Speaking of it, I haven't seen An Zhengnan and Ren Yupei around yet. An Zhengnan said that he was going to find you. Haven't you seen him yet?"
She was too flustered to discern as to why Wang Ze looked so opposed to her meeting Ling Wenfu.
Of course, Wang Ze knew that she was lying. He squinted his eyes sternly and turned around with a humph. This wasn't the right time, he mused. After all of this passed, he would make sure to interrogate her thoroughly.
