One time, as he was sitting atop of a mountain and gazing at the moon which was covered by the dark passing cloud, faint footsteps sounded nearby. His ears twitched and without moving, he courteously asked. "What matter do you seek me for?"
A chuckle answered him, the voice sounded exceedingly familiar.
He frowned, and the person emerged from within the shadows of dense trees. It was a man in black cloak. His face was covered in a hood so that Sheng Li couldn't make out his countenance. When the cloud dispersed, moonlight shone on his skin which was carved with numerous wiggling and glowing marks.
Sheng Li's eyebrows rose, and he instinctively thought; the other person surely wasn't ordinary.
There was a faint sense of danger and pressure in his every step, yet because Sheng Li didn't feel any malicious intent, he didn't put up his guard.
"What are you doing?" he greeted as if they were old friends.
"Moon gazing." Sheng Li answered.
