Hovering between air and wind, her consciousness floated up and above, bubbling and wandering just like sea water which was evaporated by the sun before rolling into dark clouds that spurted out its rain, falling gently to the earth before returning to the sea again.
She didn't know how much time had passed, nor did she remember anything.
She was just an entity that existed in this vast universe.
Who was she?
What was she doing?
What…did she exist for?
She had no idea at all.
Just like a piece of fallen leaf, she just let herself be brought away by the wind to wherever it wanted to. Silently, gently, persisting throughout the season. Spring, summer, autumn, winter, the weather shifted and time came and went without her noticing.
She didn't know how much time had passed before her consciousness took a solid form, enough for her to discern her surroundings.
