His body was freezing. The coldness that seeped through her skin was one that no living human could have had. She didn't dare to lower her head, instead she nuzzled her cheeks on his forehead and whispered. "Yu Jian? Are you very cold?"
The man had ceased breathing.
"Why aren't you warming up?"
Tears mixed with rain soaked her face, and she remained motionless as she hugged him protectively. "Why…" She choked on her words, and her throat burned so badly that she felt that her chest was on the verge of exploding. "Why…aren't you answering?"
She grabbed his hand which had just touched hers a moment ago.
