When she opened her eyes again, the world seemed to have changed a lot.
The originally clear blue sky turned into a depressing grey color. The white, fluffy clouds akin to soft cotton candy were no more and thick, billowing murky clouds took its place. Her huge sluggish body slowly rose and the snow around her slipped down in a loud thump, creating a small turbulence around.
She blinked her eyes dully.
Snow continued to fall from the sky above her, yet the air was hot. The combination of freezing ice below and the scorching weather above was lethal to any living being, at least she was sure that if it was any other human, their lungs would instantly shrivel and degenerate and they would lose their life in any second.
She shook her scales. It was still as clean as the last time she saw, the snow became the best preservative against dust and soil.
The world was so silent and tranquil.
As if she was the only one left.
