The temperature around Mo Yujian seemed to drop a few degrees as his face hardened. Ouyang Xueqing knew that Wind Residence was the name of his public residence but she didn't know what would make him look so gloomy all of a sudden.
As a sensible disciple she was, she let go of his arm and put away the dishes in the kitchen. Bowing, she said. "Please excuse myself, Master."
Mo Yujian hummed and she exited the dining room with question on her head.
She didn't need long to get an answer as Mo Yujian prepared to depart not long after. She chased after him when she got the news and caught him on his way out. "Master?"
"Little pup." Mo Yujian sighed. "Sorry it seems like Master can't accompany you today."
Her heart sank in disappointment but she nodded. "It's okay if Master has some matters to attend to."
