She panted and it took quite a while for her to calm her senses. Her throat was parched and her lips chapped. She reached for the kettle beside her bed but discovered that it was empty. Sluggishly she got down from the bed, wrapped a cloth around her right eye, grabbed the kettle and got out of her room.
Her eyes dropped in sleepiness as the cold air caressed her bare foot. As always, it was raining on night and the wind was so cold that all she wanted was to drink some hot water and snuggled into her warm blanket.
