Unfortunately, he couldn't die. He couldn't even chose to end his life. The only thing he could do was this. Torturing himself, both his body and his mind, so that he could wait for the time when he could met him again.
The land he was imprisoned in was under the authority of Shark Eye Empire's Emperor. He was a greedy and cunning man, sparing no effort to get whatever he desired, including him. After that person was gone, he had lost his reason to exist.
He had tried countless times to die. It was futile though. At the same time, his whereabouts was known by the Shark Eye Empire and the Emperor had sent many assassins to capture him.
He let himself be caught. He let them nailed him to the ground and chained his body. He let them took his blood as many as they wanted. He let them tortured him.
