Last Scene
"Alright, alright, I surrender." those were my last words before deciding to return to our dormitory.

The hint of sunshine came dashing through her window...
Just like that, it's already 5:00 in the morning and it is time to get ready for classes. I felt some excitement lingering through my veins for the thought.
I began with my daily routine with normal issues. Oh! I almost forgot about Sade who's still snoring up 'til now. When I'm already more or less done with my locksteps.
Wearing a sky blue blouse under a navy blue vest, paired with a knee-length checkered skirt, twained with black oxford shoes and white knee socks, I looked at the whole body mirror, marveling the sight, turning around like what models do at ramps.
"It looks good on you." I almost jumped out of shock because of that particular baritone voice.
"What did you just say?" I asked blushing, for I heard it clearly but refused to appear like it.
"Nothing. I said you look like a witch. A beautiful one."
The last part of his sentence was quite low that I was not able to catch up with it.
"Hmph-—" unnerved, I whizzed. "I don't care" I only bickered, disagreeing with what he might have said.
Without replying, he went to the bathroom nonchalantly.
Fuck! It slipped my mind, my undies are still there. I ran without thinking for it will be a horrifying scene if it does happen. And when I opened the door I was not able to control my embarrassment, heat rushed to my face. He just effin' saw them, clear as water.
Fudge it. I almost tripped. Almost. For someone broke my fall. The brink of heaven welcomed my face, beauty entranced me. I felt my cheeks heat-up where you already can cook an egg, well done.
"Riene~ Goodmornin—" his words were cut off because shock overcame him as he witnesses the most embarrassing position we are in.
Immediately, we got hold of ourselves then Sade loosened his firm grip from earlier.
"Uh—" The shame kicked within me as he speak. "Sorry for the bother." Why does Mishap need to behold such a sight?
Discountenance gushed within me. For goodness' sake, he thought wrong! I felt like my soul just flew out of my sleeves.
"That was really nothing. Promise. I nearly stumbled against the f-floor." stammering words went out of my lips, almost fainting in mortify.
"Stop being so nervous, it's not helping. You sound like you're defensive." Sade countered me.
"S—sorry," I apologized for discomfit and fluster.
"Look who's talking, dude? Was that supposed to be for Riene or for yourself? You're the one who's blushing real hard and-" David stopped mid-sentence, letting his words hang and teased Sade while cackling.
"Who's blushing, huh? Maybe, you, punk? And, what?" he enunciated, blazing real hard.
"So defensive," David mocked as his eyes went to Sade's crotch.
"No, I'm not!" Sade once again disagreed with the thought.
One will say a thing but will be thwarted by the other.
"Sure, is~" this colloquy might be an endless one.
"Is not!" see what I mean? It had gone this repetitively.
"Yes, do" I'm starting to get sick of this.
"No, don't" this conversation is enough to make me dizzy, early in the morning.
"Will you stop, you guys?" It's getting kinda' annoying."
"He started it!"/"He started it~," they said in unison.
"No, you did!"/"No, you did~" will this ever halt? It has been forever with this freaking discussion, to the point that I've lost my shyness because of it.
"David, just let him be. Mr. Pirouette, can you just do your thing already, it's getting late." I pointed-out "I'll be going then."
Walking past the hallway, I remembered what happened last night. I can't help but admire Sade's cuteness.
When I opened the door, my sight went past across the woods, and the breeze is whispering as if telling me to go inside. And as if on cue, something went inside the forest.
"What was that? What were you looking at?" someone spoke from behind me and it was Mishap.
"Ah—I reckon that there's this animal that went inside the woods."
"What kind of animal, though?" I asked curiously.
"A cat, maybe? It has black and white fur and about this big" I said that while showing it via hand gestures.
"Oh no, you must be kidding me," he said as though he was shocked.
"Wait, why would I?" he got me confused there.
"The cat that you were talking about was caught in an accident within that forest some years ago. And is believed to hunt newcomers." he verbalized.
I got a wild thump in my chest after what he just said.
"Are you serious?" I questioned out of a random chill of the spine.
"Why won't I be?" as if he's disappointed at my words.
"Is that really true? That story you have there is quite creepy, you must be joking. Why would a cat do that?" I laughed, trying to cease the thought from playing inside my head.
"Nope, some even say that it follows its victims in their own dorms." fear is trickling within my being.
"Nah, that's not real." I replied, stuttering, "Cats are cute, they won't scare me even a bit."
"Then why are you stuttering? Don't worry that was only a joke." he then, roared in laughter. His angelic voice sounded nice even in his joy.
"What the hell, Mishap! I got scared for nothing." I lash out. " U-uh? David." I rephrased the way I addressed him, not noticing that we are at school.
"Nope, It's fine if you call me by that name, Riene. I don't mind it at all." he cleared a lump thought in my brain.
At some point in our conversation, we decided to part ways.
-
Sashaying against the cool hurl, until I realized that I forgot to ask where my first class is. Fudge this day! I tried to ask some that were in the way. But no one knew. So I went to the nearest department but to my surprise, all the teachers were out and are in their own classes.
"Hey, Ms.?" who is this now?
"What do you want? Can't you see that I'm grieving?" I'm on the verge of crying when he spoke again.
"Hmm, fiesty! I like that. So what is your name and what section are you in?" he asked out of nowhere.
"Nhoriene Feliciano of Class 1-A," I said while still in my tantrums.
"Well, you're in luck, I'm your adviser and is also your first subject professor," he said while smiling.
I was still in shock when he pulled my wrist towards a beige two-floored building. Then we stopped at the second door.
"By the way, my name is Aldrin Salvatore, at your service," he said then winked at me.
I still can't believe what just came about. Fuck. Is this really happening?
"Am I being too difficult on Nhoriene?" The unheard voice of kismet bothered.
