Synopsis
"She is poison But the necessary poison To heal the land." Hated by the noble family who adopted her, sixteen year old Thanea Mikaelie von Correns, unintentionally summoned one of the most powerful magick, otherwise known as gramarye, that took the life of all people under the Correns' surname with a single exception...her own. Unknown to Thanea, she is a Diamond, a bearer of a part of a High Being, and the rarest form of gramarye. Assumed as a Dual when she entered the Academy of Magic-users called Pandemonium, someone who can manipulate gramarye from two of its Suits, she chose the suit of Club while using the name Wynter as an alias. With her strong will, feared gramarye, and the promise that she kneel to no one but herself, Wynter is on the quest to atone for sins forcibly inflicted and manipulated on her fate. Then there is also the revenge she must bestow on the recently discovered third party which ruined her life years prior. In a world where heroes do not exist, only villains and monsters, there are no allies to trust. Only deep and strong emotions like friendship and love can withstand the wind to keep the flame burning. Atonement and revenge are double-edged swords, and as payment, one must continuously be broken. Cover credits: Rhett Wesley Copyright by Sejuru All Rights Reserved

Chapter 1 - Epigraph

You will turn into a horrid caterpillar so to be the most magnificent butterfly,

Your flower will bloom only once to free the most terrifying but addictive scent of all time,

Your roots will grow deeper and branch frequently under the ground,

And you will be blessed with knowledge no one has ever been told about.

You will be the first human to gain pair of silver gray wings,

You will learn how to breathe in the queendom of slippery marines,

You are reduced to grass so you would thrive the hottest fire,

And you are given a fragile heart of ice so only to be melted by blue light.

Your name will be cursed by folks travailing its storms,

But worry shall not for it won't define your world,

Your future depends on how you will live after you survive,

You will be evil to discern what is good in human heart.

Your green leaves will turn yellow,

Then slowly fall off from the tree,

But the wind will carry them

Up to the endless sea.

You will bear one of the deadliest poison

To defeat your greatest enemy,

But you are the necessary fruit

To cure your greatest ally.
