"When i was little my father was a very cruel person. He was loving until i turned 6. Then one day he came home from work drunk and started beating my mom. I tried to to intervene by begging him to stop, but he wouldn't."
"When he was done with her he turned around and came after me. He did This till i was 10. Every night i would sleep with a knife under my bed scared of what he might do. I came home from school one day and saw my mother on the floor bloody."
"My father was no where in sight. I cleaned my mother up and dragged her to the bed and took care of her. I got myself ready for bed and started to fall asleep, but then i heard a loud noise. It was him. He was drunk as usual and came into my room. I pretended to be asleep hoping he would leave me alone."
"Then i felt him get into my bed. He started touching me. I immediately opened my eyes and begged him to stop, but he wouldn't. He took off his cloths and lifted up my shit and pulled my under ware down. I kept trying to push him off but he was to strong.
As he was about to put himself inside me i remembered the knife i had. I reached under my pillow to grab it. Then without a second thought i plunged it into my fathers heart. The police were called cause the neighbors heard the commotion. "
"The cops talk to us about what happened and after telling them everything they just left with my fathers corpse.i didn't ask where they were taking. I didn't care. The next morning i went to school as if nothing happened. Ignoring anyone who would try to talk to me."
"I got through school for the next few years. When i was 16 I got a job volunteering at the local hospital to earn some money after school to help my mother. I came home from school one day i came home from school and my mother was laying on the floor. She wasn't breathing so i grabbed the phone and called the hospital to send an ambulance."
"They got there fast and we went to the hospital and they said she had cancer and didn't have long. we didn't have much money so i would pickup extra shifts and never went back to school. My mother died 6 months later right before my birthday."
Tears fell from her eyes the entire time, but she wouldn't let herself cry fully. Kyos heart started breaking for her. He thought his life sucked, but he was proven wrong. He didn't want to see the tears coming from her eyes.
He wanted to see that beautiful smile he was falling in love with. 'Wait a minute! Did i just think that? Am i really falling in love with her? He looked up at her and started thinking of earlier. Yea he hasn't known her long, but the chemistry between them.
The way her eyes lit up her entire face...i guess i am' he thought to himself. Kyo didn't know how to help her. He cupped her face with his right hand and wiped away the tears.
"It's funny out of everything that happened with my father, that wasn't even the end of the abuse i suffered. All my life i have been hurt by just about everyone, except my mother" she said. With the last sentence she couldn't hold in it in anymore and balled her eyes out.
Kyo put his arms around her and held her tight. One hand rubbed her back while the other one ran through her hair. He didn't try to stop her, she needed to let it out. She has been carrying the pain around so long.
