AFTER his afternoon class, Astrid was picked up by Ellis. They had a meeting with the new director, Jimmy McCann, for the script he had written- [The Shadow Within]. After Ellis contacted the new director, the other immediately agreed to meet up.
They decided to meet at the Polaris office building. Ellis had suggested a good private restaurant, but Jimmy McCann preferred an official setting, so they arranged the meeting at Polaris.
This meant there was a high chance that he was positively considering working with Astrid on the film. It should have made Astrid excited since he really want to do this movie. Because of all the things happening over the weekend, he just didn't have enough energy to show his excitement.
