Chapter 9 - Adorer of the Almighty Fluff and a Terrible Truth

My answer seems to make her even more curios as she starts to future inquire about my doings on the planet.

{So, what dose this race that you just so happen to "own" look like?} She asks while an amused smile spread on her lips.

´It looks like she likes the thought of a new race appearing without the knowledge of the righteous faction. ´ I conclude from her expression and then go on to describe the general design of them.

After listening for a while, Stella suddenly spoke up.

{Ah! Right, I totally forgot Helene!} She says over the link in realization.

´Hm? What could the goddess of fairy's want from her? ´ I ponder for a moment but before I could make any speculations Stella already explains the reason.

{While you were out and busy with your domain, she asked me to put you two into a link together. She's rather interested in you, or should I say ´in what is beneath you´.} Stella says with a slightly evil grin on her face.

In respond to her expression, the shy looking woman on the other side of the table suddenly shuddered and looked over and starts to pale a bit.

I swipe my eyes over to the woman and exam her.

Pinkish skin covered in golden patterns that look like vines, a forest green one-piece dress that covers her chest down to the thigh's while leaving the shoulders and arms bare. The dress has a mesmerizing design on it that seems to tell the tale of an entire race.

Raising my line of sight, I scan over the snow-white hair that slowly turns pink near the tips and flows down over her bare shoulders down to the middle of her back.

The hair is hiding part of her face, but I can still clearly make out the gentle facial features and sky-blue eyes behind them, sharp but short ears peek out from her hair at each side.

Shifting my eyes a bit, I observe the throne behind her.

A combination of plants and flowers shaped into the form of a seat, rather plain but from what I saw of her till now she doesn't look like someone who really wants attention.

After taking in the appearance of the goddess of fairy's I slowly extend a telepathic invitation to her.

Shortly after a new voice sound through the link.

{Hello Mr. Ashen, it is a pleasure to speak with you.} Helene says with a soft voice.

´She is very polite, almost as if she doesn't know how to speak normal. ´ I think while listening to her greeting.

If I had bothered to include a mouth in the design of my body, then it would have turned into a playful evil smile.

{Greetings fellow adorer of the almighty fluff, how may I be of assistance?} I say in a mighty voice filled with seriousness as if I was a priest talking to a fellow believer.

After my word follows a stunned silence.

Helene looked like a frightened deer while Stella stares at me with disbelieve.

The silence didn't last long as Stella suddenly bursts into a manic fit of laughter that resounds through the telepathic link and through the rest of the hall.

All the present gods turn their heads and look at the laughing goddess of storms who has her head placed on the table and is hammering on it with her fist.

Helene on the other hand got brough out of her shock by the manic laughing and her exquisite face rapidly turns into a dark shade of pink.

I observe silently form the side while chuckling to myself at the funny situation that I crated.

While I wait for Stella to calm down, I close one of my eyes and take control of the avatar that I left behind.

Through its vision I am able to look directly at the happening of in my domain.

The Inserta's had been busy and the guarded wall has transformed into a fully functionating fortress, encasing the portal.

Using my other senses, I look at the interior of the building and verify that the expansion is in full process.

A conveyor belt like construct is extending out of the portal which continuously spits out new materials or manpower.

After looking around for a bit I pass by the conference room and recognize one of the members as the specimen who I replaced with the AI.

He and four others are discussing the expansion and how to proceed with it while guaranteeing the safety of their home.

My AI's are basically just souls like any other except that they have a specific mission that they seek to fulfil.

I don't bother listening into the conversation between these higher ups as one of the most important reasons for inventing these AI's in the first place is to have minions who are able to think and plan on their own.

´Luckily no one knows that I only made them because I suck at planning far ahead and hate politics. ´ I think to myself as I float away from the conference room.

POV 3rd person.

As soon as Ashen left the room one of the Inserta suddenly sneezed.

This shouldn't even be possible as they don't possess lungs or noses.

Confused by the action of their comrade the other four look at him and ask him about what happened.

After a moment of silence, the Inserta replied with a wired sense of sadness.

"I kind of feel like my whole existence is a joke."

The five start to silently exchange looks before the all say in union.

"It has to be the ´Hidden One´."
