"No." Trying to scam this aunt? No way!
Lu Yeluo wailed loudly as if he had been hit. His eyes quickly growing misty as he clings to Su Qingtang's knees. It was a bit laughable as Lu Yeluo was older than her by two years. "Little Su. You're the only one I can turn to. I have no one! My mother doesn't care about me, my dad won't help me and my brother is vicious. Save me, ah! Don't drive me away! Please!"
Vicious? Su Qingtang wanted to burst into raucous laughter. Lu Yeluo was truly a very crafty and scheming man. She had to give him credit for his top notch intelligence and acting skills. His ability to act pitiful all while shifting the blame from himself was actually impeccable. She now understood how he charmed his way into his fan's heart.
Even though she appreciated his mind she would not lift a finger to help him. Who knows how he provoked his brother? He probably even deserved it!
"So, let me get this straight." Amusement dances in her eyes as she looks at him. She looks at him with clear eyes that seemed to hold some pity in them. Lu Yeluo seems to see the light at the end of the tunnel and his eyes brighten. "You, Lu Yeluo, want me, Su Qingtang, to go and ask your brother, the national Ice King, Lu Yexuan to give you back your bonus?"
Lu Yeluo's head bobs adorably. He was truly going all out to sell his cause. Too bad Su Qingtang was an immovable wall. "You have Aunty Su and my mother on your side. Brother can't treat you too harshly or he'll be skinned!"
Su Qingtang laughs loudly before declining decisively. "Ha! Not a chance! I'll only help you if hell freezes over!"
Lu Yeluo's phone rings loudly. His face quickly turns serious as he responds quickly standing to his feet. His expression looked funny when paired with his clown outfit.
"Hello…. Yes, I remember…. When?.....Today?" He glances over at Su Qingtang and his gaze looks conflicted a bit of reluctance in his eyes. He pats her head twice. "I'll be there."
"It seems I can't accompany little sister Qing-er anymore, ah." He sighs, running a hand through his hair, which he had dyed warm brown. Maybe it was for a new project or something. Su Qingtang wasn't that up to date with the times to know much about him. The original also wasn't too much of his fan, either.
"Remember to wait for me!" He prompts before opening the door.
She rolls her eyes and waves goodbye as he shows himself out, not forgetting to wink like a typical frivolous youth.
"Sys."
The system paused its eating. "Yes, host. Is there anything the matter?"
Su Qingtang looked thoughtfully at the closed door as she holds up her head with her chin. Something was evidently bothering her. "Doesn't something seem… odd to you?"
The system raised its eyebrow. Eh? "No? What are you thinking about? Host your probably overthinking again."
"I'm not overthinking- …Why on earth am I asking you? A piece of scrap like you wouldn't understand, ok." Su Qingtang, waved a hand dismissing the system. It wouldn't understand anything unless it was staring it in its face.
She stared at the ceiling with a strange look in her eyes. Her thoughts completely hidden. She had closed herself off, the system realised. IT sighed and continued eating it's melon seeds.
Somewhere far away in a brightly lit room a young man smiles brightly. His smile seemed vividly real yet held a touch of charming feline playfulness. He leaned comfortably in his chair while propping his legs on the table, he didn't seem to care too much about his posture. He exuded an air of total nonchalance but somehow he still seemed to impossibly demand total compliance on all fronts. Truly a dangerous young man.
He stares out at the world from his window as he looks through a set of documents on his desk. A brightly smiling girl staring back at him, her eyes shining with a mischievous glint.
"Do you need anything else, boss? MiaoMiao~ can get if for you." she asked cutely, blinking her eyes and twirling her hair. She was dressed in a beautiful dress adorned with cute bows and frills and seemed to be about sixteen years old. Even being this old she still didn't look awkward wearing her dress and instead looked very endearing and adorable. "Do you want someone to bring her here? MiaoMiao can do it no sweat!"
He laughs slightly, reaching over to pat her head, thus messing up the attractive twin buns on her head. MiaoMiao scowls and swats his hands away while pouting aggrievedly. He laughs louder seeing her reaction before speaking. His voice was calm and melodious. It was filled with a sort of smoothness that was totally unique to him. "Little one, don't you know kidnapping is illegal?"
Her pout grows as her eyes go misty. She looks at him like a villain who stole her lollipop. Why wouldn't he let her do something fun for once? She whined. "It's not like it's the first time we've done something like this! MiaoMiao can handle this, ah!"
The man's eyes sharpen slightly and his smile grows. It was as if he wasn't smiling as there was no warmth in his expression at all. "It's not, but it's the first time the enemy has been alerted. This makes everything a lot more interesting. It's best not to ruin the fun too early."
He waves his hand and MiaoMiao skips away. She makes sure to close the door behind her. Her hair bobbing in the air as she went.
When he hears the click of the door he returns his attention the files in his hands. Information. Information on a new toy he had found. He looks at the files in his hands and smiles. "Su Qingtang, huh? Somehow I find you so interesting I can't let you go just yet."
