Chapter 8 - Home

The moment was quiet. None know how to proceed, Athena stood right in front of Hatim. Her eyes were vast open but rather than that, she was very... "I hate your kind!" She said. "Never going back on their words, acts like superior, clinging onto facts, not even breaking their rules... Listen with open ears; just calling yourself a Warrior, won't change anything!" She said rapidly without any pause and abandon Hatim voiceless, yet still, he remains unspoken. "Still," She continued. "Right now, I need you…" Upon hearing that sentence, Hatim face went bright rosy-red. However, soon then, she tosses a coin to him. The coin was bronze build and very warm, enough to nearly make his hand burn. A lady was carved into the coin. Her eyes were wrapped by a piece of clothing while she holds a pair of scales. Hatim felt little unwell then some twisted expressions taken, and after some realisation, he yells while looking at her. "You can not insult me in this way!" However, shortly again suddenly the coin began to shine just as it became hotter and release a thread. It was blue and warm but could not be touched and was pointing to the northwest but not ending, and taking off as far as human eyes can see. It was hard for Hatim to tell what exactly was this coin but one thing was sure: she desired to follow this! "What did you see!" She asked. "It's kind of blue thread…" Upon hearing his reply, she remained silent for a few seconds along with a blink and then says with a unique sparkle in eyes. "We are going on a journey!"

They walk into the Paladins market while now she does not wear the hood anymore but sticks to black-cloak and also attracting a lot of attention but that was not the only thing attractive. Hatim walks beside her as the islanders gawked at him utterly and that was no wonder (The Hero of Paladins) has fallen. Moreover, to a woman… Injured Lexus around the alley saw and respond while spiting with disgusts. "Pathetic!"

The pair walks towards the north of Paladins which were ship-shore and lead to other countries. Hatim could not help but ask with confusion. "Where are we heading?" She pauses for a moment then spun towards him and replies with a blank expression. "To find God Slayer!"

"God Slayer??" Hatim let out with even more confusion, however, the name 'God Slayer' could only mean one thing... "You sensed the Theo Energy this way earlier, did you not?" The replies she was giving was not helping Hatim at all, 'Or she is doing this on purpose?' A thought crossed in Hatim's head, as he asks calmly. "Making fun of me, huh?" She pauses then replies with same calmness "You are slow at getting things" As after her words faded, the atmosphere came to be motionless and continues by Hatim's deep long breath. "So, how this God Slayer looks like?" He calmly asked yet again. "I do not know" And she replied with same blank manner. "Where does it locate?" He continued the asking. "I do not know" And yet again the same reply takes the place but this time Hatim was very irritated, but still suppressing his anger as much as he could. "So, we are finding a Thing which we don't even know that existed in the first place?" He said that with irritation. She gazes at him for a while then replies with a blank yet bold tone. "Quite amusing, coming from a man who believed God had existed!" After suppressing his anger for a long-time hearing this was unbearable. Hence, he yells while spun gaze at her. "My brother never lies!"

"So, does my Lord!" She replied instantly as continued. "We have to find God Slayer before it's too late!" Shallow filled in her eyes just as Hatim became wordless and did not ask any further questions.

But before this unknown destination, he stops by a place where he stays. It is not his home but something similar and the ones who lives here was not there. Vestal and Veti were not there. Hatim was quite amused but did not try to find and to say farewell before departure. He wasn't sad but just something seems not right. He went inside a shallow house, despite every kind of goods was there and was remarkable as it is, the house does not look like true. That when he understood the meaning of house being alive by people but not luxury. He took a pouch of money of his own and a pair of outfits stuffed inside another cloth. He tied it onto his back and lastly gawked at this beautiful house. It wasn't huge but calm and gentle. He might want to stay longer but the done can not be retrieved and left just drawbacks. He was not feeling sorrow but anger for certain someone and there will be a day, he grasps the neck of his foe. 'Yes, one day for sure…'

They stand at shore along with Veti and Vestal in front of them, stopped for farewell and Hatim stunned. Veti holds a bouquet of yellow Chrysanthemums and had sorrow expression while Vestal was turned, simply put his back front but holds something in hand as well. Hatim was fascinated by seeing the old man come for his departure. At least that's what Hatim thought but as soon they got near, Vestal pull out a red rose and demanded it towards Athena and speaks. "Here, my beloved queen, this is for you!" Leaving all in speechless moments. Athena accepts the rose as Vestal turns to Hatim and says with a calm tone. "Take care… Of my Queen!" Hatim pauses for a while then answers in confidence. "I will!" And then they sailed towards the north-west. However before, Hatim anxiously gawked at the bronze coin she lent him and to the blue tread which was still pointing to the north-west. It was not the coin that he worries, but the destination which lay in the north-west. While Athena was bargaining with a sailor as he asked shyly. "You can't have any junk here, ok?" Athena pauses then turn her view towards Hatim and glared at him utterly, Hatim sees her vision towards him. "No, I don't have any junk" She replied while rolling her sights onto the sailor. Hatim stands with a phoney smile, annoyed. "She looked at me…" Those were the words he spoke. At the same time, Vestal and Veti saw them leaving from shore, a bead of tear shred. "Trying to act though, huh?" Vestal asked while seeing Veti with small tears. "Shut up!" Veti immediately replied with a broken voice and soon unleashes the cry-out loudly and while Vestal mumbles as he patted at her head making his last message. "I have paid my depth!"

Hatim was gazing at warming blue Okeanos Ocean as the sun was falling beneath the deep-blue waves, while Athena was in distance watching the dusk. The moment was speechless but soon taken by night as the merchants aboard decided a party. The cheers of mugs filled with beer echo in silent. Some glared at Athena's beauty but were hesitant to take a lead while Hatim quietly went to the front of boat. The night became darker, as then slowly filled with shining stars above smiling upon them while drunken ones fall asleep. The calm and gentle night led Hatim to a peaceful sleep. Athena walks around the sail before going into her room. However, found him sleeping along with drunken merchants in the open sky. She gazes for a while then head for her room, and so, the night went by…

The sail was near to the destination after floating in the ocean for seven days. Hatim yet again gawks at the sharping beauty of blue Okeanos silently while afternoon's sun reflects upon it. "I see fear in your eyes…" Athena said calmly. These were the first words she had spoken to him in these past days. He remained quiet for a certain time then replies in sombre. "Artelia… My home…" He did not intend to spoke that, yet the old memories did not let him be muted, but those words leave her hangs in silence. "Artelia…" She mumbled while falling in thoughts. "Oh, you're Olympian. You did not have known about the Butterfly Realm!" Hatim said with a tone looking down on her.

(The Butterfly Realm) The Realm of four different countries conflicting for The Legendary Holy-Land. It was not the actual title but after being at (Never-Ending War) for over a century, the lands got named 'Butterfly.' While having Artelia at South-west. Hella as being above by North-west while at opposing have Land Ryu existing in North-east and Land Dev at South-east below, and in the middle of all lays an eagle looking Legendary Holy-Land holding all together shaping a butterfly. "But the most astounding thing was; only Hellan and Artelian borders thoroughly met because of the sea between Artelia and Land Dev, and because of the mountains blocking Hella and Land Ryu while having The Holy-Land between Land Dev and Ryu. Hence, make them, the biggest rival in this conflict!" Hatim explained to Athena. "The Paladins is in south-east below far from the Land Dev surrounded by the ocean of Okeanos and not being the part of this massive conflict!"

Then suddenly Hatim holds a pause and that was inevitable because The Butterfly Realm had become visible. As the sail get closer to it, his memories flashes-in, recalling that dark rumbling night, surrounded by the dead bodies and tainted by blood. He walks straight. No hope, no desire was in eyes, all he was doing is walk. However, then at above, he saw a Golden Sword struck into the pile of rubble and, roaring thunder flashes and shines upon it…

"We are here!" Athena said, waking him up from deep memory-lane. "Home…" He said with a shallow tone.
