Yet what some mathematicians pondered in their minds was the esoteric math of "Moons of Witches," making the situation nothing short of ridiculous and tragic.
It must be mentioned that, over the long years, deeper societal transformations had occurred—
including the emergence of dictatorships and oligarchies!
In the ancient times before states were established, the Glizerians did not have a strong sense of territory. Eating some roadside weeds was enough to fill their stomachs, and if not, they could always move to a new living place where there would always be something to eat.
However, as time changed and populations settled in large numbers without migrating extensively, the land capable of producing food became a precious wealth. They developed agriculture, enabling a unit of land to yield more food.
