Ding Cai swallowed the words at the tip of his tongue and awkwardly touched his nose.
"Something on your mind?"
"Yeah," Lu Mian responded indifferently, without specifying what it was.
Ding Cai knew he wouldn't get any more information out of her and, despite wanting to show concern, he didn't know where to start. He had no choice but to nod in agreement, "Okay."
After following her for a few steps, Ding Cai remembered what he had wanted to say.
"Lu Mian, do you remember the last time I mentioned there was an event at school?"
"Yeah, you got interrupted halfway through."
"Here's the thing. Because our Kunpeng High School is renowned for its educational quality nationwide, every year there are school leaders from other schools who bring their students over for a week-long study and visit. This time, it's set for January."
After so much build-up, Lu Mian turned her head to glance at Ding Cai and quietly asked, "So what?"
