With Mu Shen's participation, efficiency greatly improved—not least because Mu Shen was much more agile than the indolently sluggish Su Yan.

Ruanruan, too, was toting a little bucket and scurrying back and forth quickly, coordinating with her two dads, and soon, they had finished washing several horses and let them out.
She even washed two sheepdogs on the side, getting her little face all covered with foam.
Mu Shen took a handkerchief passed by the Butler and, squatting down, pinched Ruanruan's little face and wiped it clean.

Su Yan curled his lips and, yawning, also headed back.
"Daddy's clothes are all wet, do you have a change of clothes?"
