Four children, with baskets on their backs, wandered aimlessly through the village, unsure where to go. After meandering about, they finally asked some villagers for guidance.
Ruanruan held a cat in one arm, while her basket carried a white rabbit, which now stood on its hind legs, scratching at the basket and constantly nuzzling its fluffy head against her neck.
"Stop it, that tickles."
Ruanruan laughed and extended her chubby hand to push the rabbit's head away, but it only stayed back for a short while before approaching her again.
Ultimately, it was the chubby orange cat that settled the rabbit down with a pat on its head.
As mentioned before, people in the village were particularly good at breeding horses, so they had dedicated fields for growing the grass horses enjoyed.
And since horses consume a lot of grass, there was a sizable meadow in a hollow of Niujiao Village's hills.
This grass was not only a favorite of horses but also of rabbits.
