Hutuan returned to his seat in high spirits and began copying his homework, when Jiang Jincheng turned his head and saw a book on his sister's desk that he hadn't seen before. He brought his stool closer to have a look and found that he was able to recognize many of the characters on it, but he still couldn't understand their meaning.
If he didn't understand, he'd ask, "Sister, what book are you reading?"
Ruanruan placed the book between them.
"This is a book my master gave me. It's about herbal medicine. My master is really amazing; he can use these herbs to cure the sick and injured animals in the mountains. I want to be as skilled as my master someday."
Jiang Jincheng thought that Ruanruan's master must be like those doctors, but being able to use herbs to cure illnesses was truly incredible.
So Jiang Jincheng nodded in agreement.
"Mhm, that's impressive. Do you recognize all the characters on it?"
