As they neared Jiang Jincheng's house, the little one patted her own belly.
"Ruanruan ate so much, Brother Jincheng won't turn her into a little piggy, will he?"
Ruanruan looked up at Jiang Jincheng with her small, soulful eyes.
Every day at school, Brother Jincheng had lots to feed her, sometimes even during classes.
Most of it was fruit, though. He gave her very little candy.
"No."
Jiang Jincheng placed his hand on Ruanruan's little head and stroked it. "Sister runs every day, and all the food she eats gets burned off."
"Brother Jincheng, Ruanruan might not be able to join you for the morning runs for several weeks, so you can't be lazy, okay? Master says morning runs are good for health, they'll keep you from getting sick later on."
"Yeah, I won't be lazy. When we start first grade, we'll run together on the school track in the morning."
Ruanruan's eyes gleamed. "That's right, once we're in the first grade, we'll be able to run on the track by ourselves."
