When eating, Nangong Xun's face was filled with seriousness, his cheeks slightly puffed out, and his almond-shaped eyes brimmed with joy and contentment.
The soft breeze ruffled his short hair, and suddenly a tuft of his hair sprang up at the top of his head, swaying in the wind, making him look like a real student.
"Meow~" A childish mewling sound came, and Nangong Xun paused, pricking up his ears to listen intently.
Soon, several more cat calls followed.
His eyes lit up, and he tiptoed towards the source of the noise, then pushed aside some shrubs and indeed saw two kittens.
One was a white cat and the other a tabby cat, both about two months old or so.
The kittens, upon seeing Nangong Xun, weren't scared but instead meowed and ran towards him with their little paws prancing, rubbing their fluffy little heads against his feet several times.
Mewing and rubbing against him, they were simply heart-melting.
