It's been a few days now and the lessons I was teaching for Leo and grim skulls son haven't been going to plan as I attended first it was grimskull son shooting Sparks out of his hand to fry an egg or at least attempting to fry an egg what he was trying to accomplish with this I have no clue all I know is that egg yolks got over me leo and Luna surprisingly the damn thing had that much range which was impressive somewhat then Lyon proceeded to shoot flames out of his hand and nearly burn Luna to a crisp and nearly made Grimm son be bald like his old man which was a little bit funny then Helga approached me one day "Jack we have issues guards are starting to poke around the battlefield notice stating there's not that many corpses" this started to give me a headache and I was half tempted to try and contact alduin to see if this was his doing which probably would end with no response if it was"all right Helga have everyone prepared for Bible and have a shrine to akatosh set upif we're lucky they'll believe that we're all just pilgrims living in this old abandoned fortress after all you did say this region belongs mainly to the akatosh faith and make sure the blacksmith grim skull does all the talking unless you know the standard etiquette of their faith" Helga nodded and she then instructed many others to do as I ordered I walked around to make sure the undead were no place visible and make sure the body room was then blocked with rubble and I made sure all the undead were in there too and I started to have the blacksmith make ambulance of akatosh that way we could pass as religious people I told them I would be acting as a mute soon a few hours have passed and the soldiers were coming up to the fort we all have the ambulance ready by then we wearing them openly I acted as a director pointing certain members to haul logs to a certain spot as one of them were chopping the wood the person who approached me was the captain of these soldiers he spoke "what are you doing in this fortress?" I just stood around as it obviously looks like we're trying to repair and fix this place then Helga approached us and she spoke "I apologize for my friend Jack he's mutc he cannot speak I am the one in charge of this little group we were planning and turning this place into a shrine to akatosh a place where the faithful May practice our faith without worry of bandits attacking us" the guard looked around seeing us repairing the fort they brought a smile to his face "well mountain dwarf would you like some aid?" I was surprised at how well Helga could act "no need for a sir Knight we are doing this as our pilgrimage it's kind of you to offer aid but this is our pilgrims" the soldier seem to be a very religious man "oh of course Madame for I wish you best of luck on your pilgrimage if you need any aid in defending this place simply send a courier to the village of ivarstead and we will send a small detachment of God's to help guard the temple" she fell politely with a cheerful smile "you have my thanks sir Knight" I began to notice one of the soldiers were beginning to wonder off deeper into the fort with the amount of rubble I made block the body room no smell should be able to come out the head guard called out to his friend "Jackson come on let's go let's leave them to their pilgrimage" the girl that was wondering off nodded and quickly moved towards the rest they quickly moved out Luna was at the watchtower looking over I noticed she was up there as they were leaving I'm guessing she's keeping an eye on them and now we had to be careful since we are going to be known as a temple I guess there was a perk about this if people start dying left and right around us we would get more corpses for me to raise but now we had to make a careful plan I would just your towards Leon Drake and Helga to move towards me they quickly move towards me "I want you three to start devising a plan of action because now that were known as a temple and our presence is known to the kingdom's on both sides are going to have issues we don't have a carefully laid-out plan" what's reason not it and start walking off as I within take a look at my 'create dead spell' as I look at it I noticed that I have nearly met all the requirements for it to go to tear 4 I just had to create a few more upgraded undead minions with it I started to make my way towards where we were keeping all the bodies I had a Max capacity for the create undead spell of 20 as soon as it reaches. Tear 4 and when I have mastery understanding of it I will have a maximum capacity of 25 But as I walk through the fort I remembered I put in trouble in front of the body room meaning I would have to start clearing it out as I stand outside of it I suddenly remembered I had a question "system I have a question" a happy noise was made "hello friend what is your question" I remember the question "how do I use the arcane memory orb?" this question I wanted to ask because last time I asked about it it contains the memory of a wizard meaning I could get a new type of magic from it but I didn't know how she replied with her kind voice as always "to use the arcane memory orb you must say teach me a new magic then you will have three choices of magic to learn you can only pick one but you are allowed to view with that magic can do" I smiled as I think about all kinds of different magics that I could learn from it "thank you system sleep well" another happy noise was made and then system would disappear I would grab the arcane memory Orb "teach me a new magic" as I said this three different things with pop up in my line of sight the first was something called 'binding' the second was called 'telekinesis' and the last one was called 'mind control' the last two were 341 allow me to control minds and the other allow me to pick things up with my mind but I click the button to review binding. the description of it said binding magic is the act of binding a creature animal or monster to your will to make them obey you once you have bound a creature they will be on your side always there is no limit unless they die. As I read the description it would be very good to be able to bind animals and monsters to my side it would add a whole new variety of troops I could have but my control could help me gain things from humans but then again telekinesis could help me move things around like help clear the rubble out of this florent but mind control I could trick the Lord of this section of either kingdom to give me the deeds to the land here and would help us gain more profit as well as I will be a lord meaning guards would be willing to protect my land also I could use mind control on monsters that make them attack each other without thinking I said "mind control" and the two others disappeared and the orb disappeared as well and then I got a notification "congratulations you have learned mind control magic" I then started looking at all of its spell lists as I did I noticed I had three new types of tokens what does system name them memory tokens I looked at their description "memory tokens belong to the person who created the arcane memory orb this is how many spells that they had mastered while they were alive" I read the basic spell if you wanted to go up like normal through the ranks of spells it was called 'mind control lesser creature' I began to read its description "using the spell you take control temporarily of a mine of a lesser creature such as a Cobalt goblin anything else that is less intelligent than you" that would definitely be useful but then I looked at the next level of spells and there were two the first being called 'mind control human' and the second one being called 'mind control beast' both of them were pretty self-explanatory one specializing in taking over the minds of other people and the other more geared towards animals then I looked up to the next
Tear of spells where there was only one and it seemingly wasn't classified as a spell since it was already unlocked it was called 'Fortify mind' I began to read its description "this is a passive buff a reason for defies your mind helping you resist being mind-controlled and also helping you mind control others" I smiled at this as I would use two of the memory tokens to get 'mind control human' and 'mind control beast' this way I can make more use of the spells them two notifications appeared the first being "congratulations you have learned mind control human" the second saying "congratulations you have learned mind control beast" but then a third notification appeared "congratulations you have earned 'the mind flayer' perk" this caught me off-guard I quickly looked at this perk it's description said "the mind flayer perk this increases the effectiveness of your mind control spells also that this makes you 25% resistance against mind control spells you also gain the ability to speak to monsters through their minds as long as you make eye contact" I began to think about the potentials that I could do with these I could just look at and undead speak into their mind and give them an order without saying anyting this could be amazing this could definitely make it easier for recruiting monsters they're having the control their minds I wonder are there any tribes of monsters near here I would go to where Luna was she typically goes out scouting more than hell of a does unless it's around the villages I would shout through the rubble it was a bit muffled but paarthurnax was told to stay right next to the entrance "paarthurnax began to remove the rubble and then go back to your normal post and make sure all the undead are as well" I then began to make my way towards the watchtower or what some of us were jokingly calling 'luna's perch' what she does like to spend most of your time up there maybe she likes to know that everyone is safe and if something happened she can always ring the bell we put up there as an alarm and then begin to think to myself "should I ask Luna about her love for me? Helga did say elves were not Direct with their feelings in fact she told me a few days ago a courtship between elves can last for over a hundred years which isn't seen very long for them since they can live for tens of thousands and still look the same as if they were 18 still" as I was thinking I know as I was already about halfway of the tower regardless what I'm thinking I'll get my answer to that question eventually but it doesn't have to be today as I took the first three steps up to the roof of the tower I noticed Luna was looking at the stairway like she was waiting for whoever was coming up she had an arrow in her hand and her Bow is ready to fire with another arrow knocked backed "Luna it's me Jack so please don't shoot me" she put both the arrows back into their quiver as she sat down in one of the chair she brought up here I spoke up "I have a questions for you Luna if you don't mind answering it" there'll be a smile on her face as she heard this she then spoke up and a come polite voice "yeah what's the question?" I walked and sit in the seat across from her "well I guess 3 the first being is there any monster tribes or dennes around this area. The second one being do you know where any Lord's live?" she scratched her head then she would reply after looking like she was thinking pretty darn hard "well I do know of a goblin tribe that's about a few miles to our sound bites other than them I'm not sure and yeah Lord DennisMuir and Lady fellMuir are the two nobility that are fort is sitting on the border between their two lands" I smile when I heard this and unexpectedly she looked at me with a curious look in her eye "and your third question?" I inhaled and exhaled as then I would open my mouth "I was wondering do you have feelings for me? I'm asking is because one I'm curious and two Helga told me how elves aren't direct with their feelings I'm not from this world and even in my own world I have no experience with relationships" her face turned bright red she is about to open her mouth but then Leo appeared and shouted "there's a caravan broken down in front of the fort and they're asking to be let in some they may repair their wagon and have a safe place to rest I think it's because we haven't put up the shrines to akatosh yet!!!?"
