As I saw the familiar man with a monocle, I immediately covered the whole pool of water with the gates of hell, so if he dares to even step I'll control the arms to pull him in. I was extremely cautious as I sneered at him, rage and bloodlust filled my heart.
"Hey, hey, no need to be so cautious and furious! That was just a test!"
"So your test includes harming innocent people?"
"It's fine really! I was just joking about the poison!"
"You still stabbed her!"
Is this person for real?! He took some steps forward and he stopped at the tip of the pool just out of the range of the arms. I glared at him intently, he didn't seem to be disturbed at all, but I was ready to attack anytime in case he does something. He was standing there idly when several people walked to the cavern we were in. There was a tall figure of a woman and there were four smaller figures following behind her.
"Oh, Talia! Nice timing!" Gleesh turned around to greet her.
"I'm busy dealing with these four girls right now. What do you mean right timing?!"
"W-well I kind of need help dealing with this kid who now covered the pool with something..."
"You had one job! You really suck at babysitting."
"M-my bad..."
"Hey new kid, can you please redraw your gate? Please! Do it for big sister!"
"I'm still really suspicious of you guys..."
"Wait! Who's voice was that?" one of the girls shouted
"Now that you're talking about it, it does seem familiar."
"Big sister Talia can you please move to the side?" she asked
She moved to the side, the faces of the four were illuminated by the blue hue of the pool that I didn't reach with the gates of hell. The familiar faces of the one I cherished were right in front of me, the faces of the one I considered my new family. I quickly lept out of the cold water and with tears flowing out of my eyes I went in with a hugging formation. Instantaneously I crashed into a wall of rock and the shards of the rocky wall pierced me and blood instantly flowed out of my body and into the blue pool which turned black due to my dark blood. The girls screamed in surprise and they hurriedly swam in the pool just to go to my location, but Talia stopped them with her wind manipulation (I'll call it that for now.).
"BIG SISTER TALIA! WHAT THE HELL DO YOU WANT?!" Cherri shouted will full force
"LET GO OF US NOW!" retaliated Lilly
"Oh my, what a handful you guys are..."
"Please let go of us...we just want to talk to Tarus..." pleaded Mandy
"Sorry...but I can't let you 'Ladies or Revelation' go..."
The four girls went silent and I tried to remove the shards of rocks from the cavern from my body. I couldn't move, she crippled my legs, for some reason my regenerative abilities are gone...
"TALIA! WHERE THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOUR MAKING THEM DO!?"
"At least call me big sister Talia then I'll tell you..."
"Then big sister Talia...why did you call them 'Ladies of Revelation'?"
"Because the demon king has chosen them as a means of sacrifice to connect the underworld with the surface."
"But demons litter the surface!"
"Oh, about those demons, they're artificially made by the past titleholders."
"T-then why do those four girls have to be the sacrifice?"
"They're just coincidentally compatible with the sacrificial machine the demon king made."
Despair overtook me, I can't think rationally, I don't want them to harm the four girls...I sliced off my crippled legs and I transformed into burst mode (I think I'll call it this for now.). Replacing my severed feet, the same shadow like feet that I used in the battle with the grandmaster. The only problem with these shadow feet is that I don't feel anything which kinda disturbs me.
"Oh my, are we battling here?"
"Either you like it or not, I'm talking those girls back!"
"This is really great! I like energetic young boys!"
I and the four girls reacted to her statement by drooping, can she even take me seriously...I didn't even feel like fighting anymore because of her silliness...
"Listen, is there a way I can talk to the demon king?"
"Oh my, of course! Since your one of us titleholders you have the right to talk to him."
"Please lead the way then..."
I reverted my transformation and my legs grew back, big sister Talia made me float into the air as she dragged me with the girls. There was an awkward tension in the atmosphere and we just kept silent as she dragged us into the cavern. We took several flights of stairs downward and big sister Talia didn't even seem to break a sweat.
"Big sister Talia, don't you get tired carrying five kids with your wind manipulation?"
"No need to worry about me little Tarus! Big sister is strong after all!"
"Oh, ok then..."
The awkwardness is back, I don't know what to do...the stalemate broke when we arrived in front of giant metal double doors with designs of demons here and there and with horns sticking up from their foreheads, it was an eery sight to see. The loud doors clanked opened and there were two guards who were masked similarly to the kidnapper. The whole chamber we entered was themed with lava flowing on the sides and pillars of fire raging. It was very hot inside and I immediately sweated.
"My lord, Demon king, I have brought the 'Ladies of Revelation'."
"Excellent work as always Sin of lust Talia!" with a deep menacing voice the Demon king applauded Talia
"Thank you, my lord!"
"What's with the extra puny mortal?"
"My lord he is the newest and youngest titleholder that we spoke of, Sin of Regret, Tarus Neispira."
"Sin or Regret....ah this is very nostalgic, my old master Creevus Neispira...."
What the demon king mentioned caught my attention as he mentioned the name of the first titleholder of the Sin of Regret. The demon king stood up, with his bulky frame and he's not only huge but tall! He's the same size as a fully grown tree! He wore a mask with some skull accents and there were 9 horns growing atop his head.
"Great demon king, did I hear you clearly, your old master was Creevus Neispira?!"
"Hey don't talk to my lord rudely!"
"It's fine Sin of lust Talia, young boy, do you know about the whereabouts of my master?
"I-I'm not very sure about that great demon king, I've been to his sector twice so far..."
"I see, that's very unfortunate...do you have any further business with me?"
"Y-yes I do great demon king!"
"What's it about?"
"It's about the 'Ladies of Revelation', can you please pick someone else?"
The demon king sat back down on his rocky lava themed chair and he rested his head on his right arm. The menacing aura became even stronger and he got furious when I mentioned the "Ladies of Revelation". I dropped down to my knees because of the pressure.
"What about it?"
His powers are unfathomable...
