Masahiro woke up and prepared for school, along with breakfast and bagging the cookies kissed by the devil, the school body caught wind about the rising popularity of the newcomer, not only that he's viral on the internet twice.
the Japanese become more popular than the dirty blonde despite he's going to school with a bike and wearing White T-Shirt, Jeans, and Black Converse Shoes while the Chad wore a Golden Yellow, Red, and White Letterman Jacket (he's a star Quarterback), a white t-shirt, and a pair of Vans, luckily Chester gave him the passcode to Jeremy's locker since the idiot wrote it down on a sticky note and the passcode was the regular 91716 (September 17, 2016),
it's the day where Harvey Woods Royal Lancers declared winner of the High School Football State Tournament against the two time champion St. Gabriel National Highschool Archangels, after taking down the Silver Hussars (St. Raphael Public High School in Cleveland), Raging Bulls (Fogelberg High School on Nashville), and Humpbacks (Pacific Keys High School on Tampa Bay), he's also a member of Harvey Woods Soccer Team, in which why Jeremy's as fast as Usain Bolt once the bell rang for Wood Shop, the fellow classmates were pushed aside while the brunet stashed the cookies in the Chad's locker while it was signed from Mabel Keller, however there's no "Mabel Keller" in the school, but there's Marielle Knight from Sophomore Year.
Wood Shop was a breeze for the Japanese as he took a part-time job in the Construction Industry, Masahiro even handled Sharp tools like diamond cutters, hack saw, electric saw, and the works (literally). they were taught about safety regulations around the shop and using the equipment with real caution as Ms. Leona's left hand was amputated by an IED during her military service for the US Marines, she was recovered and took up a job as a Wood Shop teacher due to her experience on carpentry before her military career. her prosthetic arm was built by her roommate, who then ran a company that was making prosthetic limbs that were capable of doing the same thing as the real limb.
it was great news for the Ex-Marine after receiving the new prosthetic limb, she can even fight with it, the reason why she made the warning a little serious as she doesn't want her students to be like in her shoes or a lot worse as she removed the prosthetic arm to show the results of ignoring the warning
some cringed at how awful she went through, one of them nearly hurled as he saw a bandaged tip of the arm of their teacher, the lesson continued after she apologizes for the gruesome tale of her accident. they left the class while Masahiro was left behind as he cleared the workstation.
at recess, everyone was enjoying lunch until one of them collapse in intense heat from the cookies he baked the other day, Masahiro stood up and confront Jeremy while he's screaming in pain with a spare carton of milk
"tell me Jeremy, where were you last night?" Hiro asked Jeremy
"fuck you! what did you put in these cookies!?" Jeremy yelled in pain
"I'll ask again, where. we're. you. last. night?" he asked again
"I don't know! I was in my house with my buddies, right?" Jeremy lied
"that's not the answer I wanted, where is that cookie?"
"wait, I'm the one who did it" the blonde weakly said
"what? I can't hear you?" Masahiro chimed
"no! no! no! I'm the one who did it!" Jeremy loudly confessed
"Finally, I guess you've been bitchin' about the Showdown yesterday, isn't it?" Brian smirked
Jeremy was sent to the nurse's office while Police came into the building to arrest him for damage of property, drug possession (marijuana, LSD, and a small bag of Cocaine). everyone went back to normal until Mr. Rutherford's class was interrupted by a school resource officer, he brought the Japanese student to the principal's office for a testimony regardless of what happened last night, all of which are happened that night yet Masahiro saw the aftermath, however, Chester was also there last night, he was testing the studio camera that the quiet kid repaired from the other day
turns out he was the president of Elm Wood Gazette, his step-father worked for television and movie production while his grandfather used to repair electronics back in the day, they even have three studio cameras that are used for student broadcast every once a week. remember the laxative laced coffee the other day? Chester also did it on his previous school as a payback to the principal for not doing anything to resolve the bullying that he endured before entering Harvey Woods, he earned a legendary status after leaving Wisconsin for Detroit while the said principal was humiliated
a couple of hours later, Classes have been concluded and everyone went to their respective clubs and varsity teams while some are joining the said clubs and varsity of their choices like Swimming, Lacrosse, Soccer, Football, Basketball, Cross Country, and more. the school clubs had an array of rooms from another building which they don't want to be vacant for a long time or waste thousands of dollars for unused rooms.
normal school clubs like Cooking Club to Larping Club, there's even the Reenactment Club organized by the Principal's cousin's father-in-law. for now, Masahiro joined the Soccer Team due to his skills as a striker of his former school.
the team captain was taller than the Japanese, long blonde hair, ice-blue eyes, and a stocky build while Masahiro built like a Spartan, the Swedish captain made an introduction to the new members of the team while their training was set to Friday as the meeting started on Tuesdays and Fridays except for Thursdays and Exams, especially during rainy and winter season
for now, they're going to have a short practice for the new players while a 1v5 match between an experienced Football player and the Three Kings, is composed of team captain Mikael Karlsson, the ace defender Trevor Haines, and attacking midfielder Jessie De Santa. all three tried their best to steal the ball from Masahiro but they failed yet impressed by his skills
his footwork was enough to join the big leagues like Manchester United, Juventus, FC Bayern Munich, Tottenham Hotspurs, etc. their soccer practice was interrupted by skyrockets that nearly hit the players, turns out it was Jeremy's cronies who wanted some justice on Masahiro for Jeremy's Arrest. luckily they weren't hurt but only a handful suffered second-degree burns. they were sent to the Nurse's office, okay, more like an emergency room due to the equipment that they have like defibrillators, life support machines, stretchers, and many more.
the entire campus went on lockdown while resource officers checked the students if they're okay, paramedic rushed in with the fire department just in case the field caught on fire by fireworks. they were sent home immediately by their parents while Masahiro was sent home by a cop who knew Mr. Collins, he's a good friend of his and a former bully to Matt when he was at the same age as the Japanese
the only thing that changed the cop back in his days was the victim that he tormented, Matthew saved him after he nearly overdosed himself on Fentanyl when he was delivering pizza at his location. Brandon (the cop) was mixed with shock and relief as the savior who saved him was a pizza delivery boy, he ain't going to be alive to this day it wasn't for him.
needless to say, he went clean after a stay in the hospital and joined the police department as his clearance to join the police academy (it took him 4 months to be clean). Masahiro was considered lucky enough to evade the fireworks on time, the Collins were worried about both Riley and Masahiro's safety sakes, thankfully they came home safe and sound.
at dinner, his neighbor (who lived two doors away) gave Mr. Collins a chunk of beef brisket that he made the other day, and he decided to make Beef Wellington with mixed vegetables stir-fry and mashed potatoes. no one said a word while the Japanese hand over the mashed potatoes to the matriarch after passing down to Riley.
as dinner was ended, Masahiro logged in to Discord, nothing normal but a little chat with the boys (and girls, but who knows?), he then picked up the guitar (the Petrucci Red) and strum a few notes to make sure it's on tune while turning the knobs for a sweet sweet tune, he strummed the chords of Smoke On The Water by Deep Purple, after a few minutes of Discord session, he went to bed after turning the laptop off.
