Alexa's POV
It's been a month since Sky and I start dating. She always pick me up every morning, have lunch with me and drive me home.
She always do it every single day except weekends.
Knock Knock
Maybe that's Sky.
"Mom I'm leaving Sky is already here" I shout to my mom that's in the kitchen
"Bye honey say to Sky for me" Mom said
I open the door and I see Sky smiling brightly.
"Morning Lex" She said then she open the door of her car.
"Good Morning too Sky and Mom also said Hi" I said then I kiss her cheeks before entering the car.
She enter the car with a wide smile on her face and she drive to school while holding my left hand.
When we arrived to school we see Rośe following Irene.
"Rośe is following Irene early in the morning so I think Irene is really annoyed right now" Sky said
"But Irene really like it when Rośe is waiting for her in the gate every morning and walk her to her room." I said
"Woah really I should tell it to Rośe she will definitely faint because of that" Sky said while laughing
We walk to our classroom while still holding hands. We just stop it when we sit to our seat.
"I will hold your hand later again" Sky said while smiling
Sky's POV
Rośe enter our classroom with a big smile on her face.
"Morning Sky, Morning Alexa" Rośe said
Alexa just nod to her.
"Good morning" I said
She seat on her seat that is beside me.
"Hey Rośe I have a plan that will make Irene become you girlfriend after we do it" I said
"If it's like just what you told me last week it's a big no she doesn't like PDA" Rośe said
"No this time it's a lowkey" I said
"Really then tell me" she said
"You always wait for her every morning, always go lunch with her and you always ask her if it's okay if you walk her home am I right" I ask
"Yes just get to the point Sky" she said she looks like she is eager to know what I'm going to say
"Do nothing" I said
"Do nothing?" She confusely ask
"Yeah do nothing don't wait for her every morning don't eat lunch with her and lastly don't walk her home" I said
"If I do that she will my girlfriend how? She ask again
" If you do that she will start too miss you she will ask you why you stop doing it and you will said that you get busy"I said
"Then what I will do next" she said
"You will do the things that you always do to Irene with someone else and she will become jealous trust me" I said
While we are talking Ms. Wendy Campbell enter our classroom. We all greet her and she start the lesson.
"Hey Sky" Rośe said
"What?" I said while raising my one eyebrow to her
"You said that I need someone else that I will use to make Irene jealous right?"
"Yeah it seems so" I said like a whisper because if Ms. Campbell hear us she will send us to detention
"Can you suggest a person that can help me" she said
"Ask Suzy Thomas she is a close friend of mine she is also classmate of Irene" I said
"Okay thank you Sky" she said then she send me flying kiss
"OK That's it Ms. Park and Ms. Martin detention after class" Ms. Campbell angrily said
I knew it if we continue to talk we will have detention. I just groaned out of frustration.
Time skips
It's lunch already me and Jennie is walking to the cafeteria when we see Irene alone. I think Rośe really do what I said to her. Irene look kinda sad so we approach her. I think my plan is starting to work.
"Hey Irene why are you alone where's Rośe?" I ask
We sit beside her at our usual seat.
"Ah I just want to be alone" She said while giving us a reassuring smile. But I know that Rośe doesn't ask her for lunch. Want to be alone hahaha.
Suddenly Rośe and Suzy enter the canteen. Suzy is clinging on Rośe arm and Rośe is blushing. While they are walking to the cashier Irene is glaring to them.
"Hey Irene if glaring can kill Rośe is probably killed" I said while laughing but Alexa pinch my side so I stop laughing
"Irene why aren't you and Rośe eating together?" Alexa ask
"Ah she said that she promise Suzy that she will buy her lunch but I don't see them speak to each other even once" Irene said the tone of her voice has a hint of jealousy
"Maybe they are really close but you just don't know" I said then I stand up
"I will just buy some foods" I said then I go to the cashier
When I'm walking towards the cashier Rośe called me.
"Hey Sky I'm doing what you said to me those it looks like effective?" she ask
"It's super effective I think Irene is jelous" I said then we high five
"That's a relief" she said while wiping her invisible sweat on her forehead
"Hey Suzy, it's good that you agreed with our plan, what Rośe say so that make you agree" I ask
"She said that she will treat me lunch for a whole month" she said
"All my money will be spend by her lunch" Rośe said while pouting
"Just accept the consequences of our plan so you and Irene will finally be a couple" I said then I leave to get a lunch for me and Alexa
Time skips
It's already Saturday and I have a monthly check up from Mr. Smith. Alexa ask me on a date today actually but I refuse to her offer because I have an important check up today.
"Hey Sky how are you?" Mr. Smith ask
"I think I'm so much better because the person that I like that I always tell you is finally my girlfriend" I said
"Wow that's good to hear Sky" he said
"Thank you Doc" I said
"So how's your memory does you always forget something?" He ask
"Sometimes I forget what is the date today and sometimes I forget where I put my things that I just put down" I said
"Oh ok does your behavior Change sometimes?" he ask
"Right know if I want something I really do whatever just to accomplish it even I don't usually do it" I said
"Does your body doesn't cooperate of what you want to do? And your vision change?" he asks again
" I don't lose my body coordination but if the vision sometimes I just see blur then after a minute it naturally come back" I said
"Oh see Ms. Martin just drink your medicine regularly and it will help slows the process of the disease"
"I will prescribe you a new medicine that will help you and your vision" He said
"Here's your prescription Sky" he said I will speak but someone enter the room
"Dad I brought your lunch you forgot it earlier oh sorry I don't know that you have patient" the girl said her voice is kinda familiar
"Thank you baby by the way these is Sky Martin the girl that I always mention to you" Mr. Smith said then I face her daughter.
And guess what who is her daughter. The one only Alexa Smith my girlfriend.
"Sky?" Jennie said
"Hey Lex" I said
"What are you doing here my dad only handle CJD patient don't tell me" she doesn't finish what she will said because I hug her then she starts to cry.
"It's okay Lex it's okay" I said while caressing her back
"It's look like you know each other I will leave you to alone so you can both talk" Mr. Smith said then he leaves the room.
Alexa broke the hug. Then she wiped her tears.
"Please don't tell me you have Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease please say no" she said
"Yeah" I said
"How long you been diagnosed?" she ask
"Exactly 8 months today" I said
"Why you don't say it to me I thought no secret to each other" she said then she start crying again
"You promise me that we will grow old together" she sob then I hug her
"I'm sorry if I don't tell you this Who's sane person will tell her girlfriend that she's going to die soon right?" I said
"Even so but Sky we will make a way so you can be cured I promise you that" she said
"Sure babe I will wait till we find the cure" I said then my tears suddenly flow. Even that I know it will never happen because Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease is uncurable.
"So please stay longer with me Sky" Alexa said
"I will try Alexa. I will try" I said
Why do I have to have this kind of illness did I do something bad to deserve this. I still want to live.
