Chapter 4 - chapter 2 HECATE BUILDING

Autumn's PoV--

FIVE THIRTY I woke up. I immediately got up and took a shower. I also wore my uniform and damn, the skirt is really very short. Warm-headed.

Carrying my bag I left the dorm. It is too early so there are no students harassing yet. I searched the cafeteria for breakfast. When I got there there were a few students already eating. I also ordered and ate quietly. Fried rice, hotdog and scrambled eggs in the morning. Not that bad.

Six Forty I was out of the cafeteria. I've been wandering around since it was early. I tried to familiarize the buildings and rooms here on campus. It's hard for me to get lost later when the class starts.

Somehow the Crescent Academy is beautiful. It just looks old. I stopped at the farthest building. Hecate Building. Of all the buildings I passed, this is the only one that is no longer used. The building is abandoned and dilapidated. But I really like his height, up to five floors.

Hmm ... It's tempting to look at the rooftop from here below. I feel like I want to go up there. I guess, maybe I can go up since no one uses this place.

Right, just do whatever you want Autumn. No one can stop you.

"Some students have tried to climb the Hecate building but most of them have had an accident. The building is too old and just collapses when you climb it. It is not safe for everyone."

I was distracted when I heard a baritone voice speak from behind me. He was staring at the tall building and when he looked down at me he immediately smiled.

"Flame Veraguaz", he introduced then presented his palm.

I glanced at the tall building one last time before walking back to the field. I heard the faint laughter of the man who introduced himself as Flame when I did not accept his handshake. Tsk!

I chose to go to the classroom. I was the first to arrive so I was free to find a comfortable seat. At the very end I sat down, near the window. View from my place the wide field especially the Hecate building. I'm not sure but there seems to be something in that building that I really want to see. Rooftop. That's right, the rooftop.

"Hey Autumn, you're already here. You woke up in the morning. Have you had breakfast yet?"

I ignored Burn and continued looking at the Hecate building. He approached me then sat on the armrest of the chair next to me. He folded his arms and then imitated what I was doing. He also looked at the tall building.

"There has been a lot of news spread about the Hecate building. It is said to be the nest of wild souls. Apart from the many who have had accidents, there are also those who make sense of that building every full moon. Some say a white lady and the It's different, demon ", Burn said.

White lady or Demon, I know both of those do not exist. Whatever is strange about that building, I myself will make a way to discover it. A day or two, I will climb the Hecate building. Then I myself will know if the spreading news is true.

"Come on, Burn. We both know what's in the Hecate building", Lightning whispered as he applied lipstick. Her lips are too red. Will she not stop applying lipstick yet?

I caught Burn's smirk in the act after Lightning said that. Tsk! There seems to be something missing in your story, Burn. You have something not to say. Well, whatever that is. I will and will know that too.

The other students came one by one. I continued looking at the Hecate Building until the teacher arrived. When he closed his eyes on me he immediately smiled. Tsk!

"Introduce yourself here in the middle", he said and I immediately stood up.

"I'm Autumn Anderson", that's all and I immediately walked back to my seat.

The boring day has begun. I focused on the blackboard but sometimes looked outside, at the big building. Until the morning session ended. Everything was ahead of the exit so I put away my belongings as well.

"Autumn, you have lunch in the dorm. I will cook", Burn said smiling but I just turned my back on him.

I exactly know what she is doing. She's making friends with me. I'm sorry, I'm not making friends. I have attended several schools but have never had any friends. It's just that, I just don't really trust other people.
