Chapter 3 - Journey x Examination

As jack made his way on deck of the ship he found several people standing there some people sharpening weapons some are staring at jack in a weird smile others are doing there own work


Jack made his way toward the corner of the ship sitting there observing people on the ship then he heard the old man screamed

"Boat will depart in 3 hours" he said

As i already know about departing time i didn't pay attention to the old man and started to observe the people on the board, he found all people are normal but 1 particular person giving him unusual aura as if that person surrounding saying that he is harmless. But jack instinct are screaming at him that he is dangerous.

While jack is observing the person notice someone stare at him and return the stare and saw a child staring at hi seeing this he was amused an in return he gave a small smile.

After seeing young man smile at him jack didn't stare at him any longer cause that smile as if saying that 'don't mess with me' after that jack close his eyes for moment and wait till departure

After 3 hours

The boat started to sail in direction he is unknown to. some people started talking each other about hunter examination some people also come near him to ask what he is doing on boat at such young age and also some people started mocking him

"kid you will die before reaching where hunter examination gonna hold"

Jack didn't say anything just punch him in a gut with fast speed making that man unconscious scarring people around him and making people in the boat staring him with wary eyes seeing this he just said

"ha i am gonna die ? your luck is pretty good today cause my mood is pretty good or i was gonna feed you to the fishes in the sea"

After saying this he sat down an closed his eyes, seeing this the young man move toward jack and said


"Hello"

Jack open his eye and stare at him said "Hello"

"My name is Mark Berry" said man

"My name is Jack Morgan"

"So you want become a Hunter"

"Yes"

"So what do you want to become a Hunter"

Jack ponders for a while he think the everyone in this world have some goal and even gon has a goal to find his father, so he should also have a goal so he look at mark and said

"I want become hunter and roam around the world and also to become strong" , said jack sincerely while looking at the mark.

Mark look at jack and he could see determination in his eyes and thought this kid is interesting and pondered for a while and said ,"Good luck in your Journey"

"Thank you"

After that they return to their original places and started doing their own works

1 Day passed

In the afternoon Jack was playing with his knife, while playing he he heard captain is screaming "THE STORM IS COMING"

He stepped out of his room and rush to the deck and saw the whether is very harsh.

The storm has started and people are moving here and there and passengers are also screaming at captain suddenly there got a big hole on hull of ship people started running here some actually fall of from ship. Jack was standing on same place from start unconcerned looking at people

After three hours the storm has passed and people in the boat is very less because many people have fallen into the sea. jack was sitting on corner of ship looking at people. captain made his way here and there and thought 'These people cant handle a storm and they want to become hunters all of them are fools '. while roaming around boat he saw that jack is still there seeing this he just stared at him fo 1 minute and made his way towards jack and said


"kid you are much better than these people who don't have any idea how dangerous hunter exam is"

Staring at old man jack nodded

"My name is Old George"

"Nice to meet you my name is Jack Morgan"

After exchanging names they got to work of their own

3 days has passed

After several storms jack and other got to see the island. The ship docked at port people started to move but they got interrupted by mark who was standing on front said

"Congratulations on Passing Preliminary Round of Hunter Examination. Now you have 2 days to search for the place to find location where first round of examination are gonna held after 2 days people will not be eligible to participate in examination"

After saying this he vanished from the spot. Seeing all this people started screaming and hurriedly run toward the island. Only Jack is standing on Boat looking at island and then turn towards Old George. seeing his look George sighed and said, "Marabora hotel"

Jack made his way towards the location. In the boat Old George is looking towards the way where jack has vanished and said "He is very smart and talented kid i hope he will pass this hunter exam".
